Locally Sourced Food, Expertly Cooked and Served

Generally, when you see on the menu that food is "locally-sourced" and "organic" you often have to hold onto your wallet. Although in this case I would say the meal prices are not sky-high, though they are on the higher end, especially when you can get diner burgers a lot cheaper than the $12 burger... read more

I just reviewed this under "hotel." The ambience is charming, but could be dazzlingly world-class if only they would polish the marble table-tops in the dining area. Service is bad and inattentive, but the food is excellent, the portions generous, and the prices reasonable. A must for fine dining in Cudahy!!

Brunch is different from most other places. The oatmeal pancakes are my husband's favorite and I love the Sweet Applewood panini. Other menu items are terrific! Try the Packer Pile-up or the Eggs Sheridan - delicious. Plus the ambiance is wonderful and the decor is relative to the era in which the building was erected. Service is friendly and the... More

I enjoy soup and sandwich specials but was disappointed with my order. Chili was a bit spicy and could have used some shredded cheese. Turkey cranberry sandwich was a few slices of turkey, between cranberry nut bread, very ordinary and also dry tasting. Neither were the quality I have experienced in the past. I do hope changes are made to these... More

This is such a unique spot with it's French inspired décor with the café/bar and then there's an elegant feel in the adjacent room that has a fireplace. Both of course are casual friendly and welcome families. The breakfast/brunch menu is outstanding with it's very creative dishes! I enjoyed the Savory Bread Pudding which was Focaccia, leeks, pork sausage, herbs,... More

Have been to Sheridan's several times for brunch/lunch. The food and servers have always been great. Dined a couple of times in outdoor courtyard To take advantage of a sunny day. Tables all have umbrellas-planters are filled with lettuce&herb plantings. Great place to stop after walking/biking the trail in park across the street or golfing down the road. Inside restaurant... A little bit of everything on the menu. I was able to get a very fresh pasta dish and add on without issue! Good local beer selection too!

Lunch visit for 3 and we were asked if we wanted inside or outside; opted for outside as it was such a nice day. Told to sit anywhere we like and server would be right out. Other guests arrived after us and were attended to so one of us decided to go in for menus. Quite a while later the... More

We go for the lavender cookies and enjoy the rest of dinner. It is usually not too busy, but reservations are always a great idea.
