RESERVATIONS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED due to seating restrictions. Tucked away in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside, Roepke’s Village Inn – Charlesburg has been family owned for over 40 years. The family carries on the tradition and upholds the standard of casual cozy atmosphere; friendly, caring staff; and fresh, top notch food. Roepke’s is well-known for its famous salad bar with recipes that have been handed down over the years. There is a wide variety of fresh, handmade salads prepared in our kitchen by our culinary staff. We have guests that love to ‘make a meal’ of just the salad bar!!! The supper club has built its reputation on hand-cut, flavorful steaks; a range of fish and seafood selections; and a wide variety of specialty items.

This was our very first time coming here and we only live 30 minutes away. We decided to come on a Tuesday at 4:00 when they opened and seeing we were the first ones here we had great parking. Gary our bartender was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. People started to slowly come in and surprisingly how busy it started to get for a Tuesday. Our dining experience was very good, we were both very satisfied with our meals and the salad bar. If you want an old time supper club venue please take the drive and see why this place have been around for 50+ years, you WONT be disappointed. Great job.

WOW We finally drove here and it's only and hour and a half from Milw. FANTASTIC food even better Salad Bar. Drinks are great and very good prices. Schnitzel chicken Coconut Shrimp EVERYTHING is great and the service was just as good Courtney a GREAT waitress ask for her.

Wow!!! From the awesome salad bar, to the perfectly done steaks, everything was perfect. Medium rare and juicy, the steak had a great grilled flavor. Everyone was super friendly and professional. Very resonable for the quality of food. Took a little over an hour to get there, but we will be back.

When you hear of supper clubs, think of Roepke's. Situated in a little town is a real gem. Vey nice people working there. The salad bar was very nice and fresh. The dinners consisted of prime rib, excellent, coconut shrimp done very well , pork chops thick and juicy and a pork shank. All dinners were excellent. Definitely coming back.

Once again, Roepkes did not disappoint. Brought another couple here on a Friday and everyone loved their meal and raved about the salad bar. I really think that this place is the best kept secret....what a gem. Food is great and the prices are great as well. I had the pork shank and it fell off the bone. The gravy and potatoes that come with it are delicious, not to mention the sourkraut. Yummy! And such a huge portion. Definitely had leftovers. Anita, our server was very friendly. A great night!

New owners now. The good- Salad bar and steaks were excellent. The bad- Service was slow and she forgot things and was very pushy to give us our bill. Do not order any ice cream after dinner drinks. Absolutely horrible. Not worth the wait or the price. They used too much green food coloring in the grasshoppers and it wasn’t creamy totally liquid also didn’t taste like there was any alcohol in it.

Our family stopped here on the way home from Old World Wisconsin. Thankfully, my daughter made reservations and though crowded, we we ushered directly to our table. This establishment is in the middle of nowhere, but was filled to capacity.
We started with the incredible salad bar and most of us ordered the perch dinner plate, which was wonderful. No room left for dessert, unfortunately. Great experience with a great waitress.

Let me just say, we love supper clubs and we really like German food. This place was fabulous, we came mothers day, very busy, but our waitress was great. Very nice and took time to explain menue items. Everyone looked like they were throughly enjoying themselves. We did have some liver pate, which was very good. Husband had pork shank, enormous and very good. I had parmesan walley. Exceptional. Definitely would come back, FYI, it's very casual dress code.

We so enjoyed this place--excellent! We couldn't believe the amount of people there already at 4!!!! We had a lovely table, huge salad bar, great food and good service. Waiters very good, although very busy.

Visited this restaurant twice while in the area for EAA. Although slightly off the beaten path, it is well worth visiting as both service and food were excellent on each occasion.

What a blast from the past! Came form Green Bay to check out a supper club, and this one is a gem. Called while driving to get our name on the list. When we got there, we didn't have a long wait. Very quaint place. Very friendly and helpful in all aspects. There are tables to order drinks while waiting for your dinner table.
Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. Salad bar had a varied array of interesting salads and was cleaned and filled often.
My husband got the pork shank and I the Ribeye. Both were tasty and a good size and we got boxes to bring half home.
Split a Golden Caddilac for a dessert drink. Perfect Evening.

Stopped at this establishment by chance! My wife and I were enjoying a two day anniversary "get away" drive celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. It was getting towards dinner time. We had just checked into the motel, so I googled "supper clubs" around the Chilton area. ROEPKE'S VILLAGE INN came up along with a couple of others. Not being familiar with any of them, we decided to give Roepke's a try. Having experienced eating at "prime eating establishment," I always embrace the unexpected. ROEPKE'S hit the 5 Star scale at every level. First, (and probably one of the most important) the staff was excellent! Very professional, curtious, attentive to all detail, yet seemingly not there (an extremely important attribute, in my opinion). The establishment engulfed the very atmosphere needed for a romantic, family, or general get-together. The bartenders were excellent. Very polite and attentive. The drinks were excellent! But, the food was beyond excellent. The salad bar provided a great selection (had to make two trips). The entre was perfect! We both had Prime Rib MR with all the trimmings. We were both extremely pleased with everything about our meals. If you're ever close to the Chilton Wisconsin area (2-3 hour drive from sonewhere), make it a point to eat here. YOU WILL NOT be disappointed! We will be back, OFTEN!

Have eaten here many times. Always great food and service. The bar makes a great old fashion, and people are friendly. It’s out a ways , but worth the visit .
