We used to travel to the Milwaukee area to meet up with our kids and the Butler Inn was our go to place. Have not been there for a number of years. Today while passing through Milwaukee thought how great is this? It's Wednesday, Mexican food night. I had the chicken fajita. It was hot and sizzling when it arrived... More

I've been to the Butler Inn several times in the past. I sat at the bar to watch the Thursday night game, read a book and have a beer with dinner. That didn't exactly work out since everyone at the bar was chatty including Heather and Dave behind the bar!! Good beer selection on tap (especially Spotted Cow) and a... More

Always had good food! came 9/26/16 for dinner with a group of 6! I always order the same, Cashew Chix salad, or broasted Chix. Today for $15.95 a blackened chicken breast, w/soup, rice, and vegs. The chicken was small thin, and dry as hell! So not worth the money. everyone else in our group, had no complaints. Just saying, never... More

Enjoyed a scrumptious Friday Night Fish Fry of breaded deep fried Cod that was light and delicate. The fish just perfectly flaked apart, and served with tartar sauce, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Rye Bread and Butter, it was just perfect. Another added bonus was the lack of grease all over the plate. It was the among the best fish frys... More

This place is sure easy to find once you have seen the photo! And even if you haven't. We experienced great service and good food. The fajitas are so good, the smell fills the air and makes you crave more! I had the fish sandwich and everything was very tasty. Service was good and it's a different atmosphere, which I... More

Three of us joined to remember cousin's funeral. I had fish that was excellent. The wife had a taco salad, so big a 'doggie-bag' was needed. My sister had a kabob that also made it to a 'doggie-bag'. Chris w/f was right on top of things. Very good deal for the price. Will return. The Hacker- Pschor was way big... More

I was very disappointed in this restaurant. I read favorable reviews but did not find them to be true. Our waitress was not professional or knowledgeable at all. They promote having a large list of craft beers. It was only an ok list, but our waitress didn't know anything about the beers, even if they were light or dark!!! The... More

This long-standing restaurant on the edge of Butler is a go-to when meeting up with friends. We usually get the fish fry on Fridays. We've enjoyed all the menu items we've tried. Can't go wrong here.

A group of 8 of us went out to eat before attending a theatre production at a local high school. We wanted to stay in the neighborhood of the school and needed a restaurant that would take reservations. The Butler Inn was just the place for us! Not only did they take reservations, the hostess suggested what time we should... More
