Stopped here for drinks in late April. Have never been here before so we figured why not add another bar to the resume'. Was pleasantly surprised. Mostly that the bartender came to our hightop standing table and served/waited on us. That was great, did not...expect that at all. Prices were decent, bathrooms were clean and theres plenty of parking. We are definitely coming back, perhaps to eat next time!More

We stop here every once in a while. The food is always outstanding. It's probably as close as you'll get to the feel of an Irish pub without traveling thousands of miles. But …….. our most recent visit on a Friday didn't go as well...as one might expect. Of course they're extra busy on a "fish fry night", but either the kitchen was understaffed, or the wait staff was short someone. It took foreverrrrr to get our meal, and then it definitely took forever to get the desert. I'm not sure we're ever going to return here again. At least not on a Friday.More

We were looking for something quick right near by our hotel and this place ended up being a great pick! Lots of specials running on a Saturday night because of the game and service was wonderful. The older gentleman taking care of us behind the...bar was more than accommodating to our big group of 7. Food was good and we liked the small hometown feel. Get the reuben bites and rolls! Yum!More

Went to Slim's on Feb 25, 2017. The place had one waitress on for the whole restaurant and one bartender on that came out to help deliver food and clear some tables. I had ordered the "Wilde" sandwich-with shaved Rib-eye. When it arrived the meat...was grey and had so much fat marble all around the edges. Unacceptable to eat so I had the waitress take it away. She asked if I wanted to order something else but I declined. Also the beer chaser was warm. Never got an apology about the sandwich. A very unpleasant experience.More

I had lunch here the other week. The sandwiches were ok but nothing special. The fries were a little overcooked and didn't have great flavor. The server was friending and attentive but there is no reason to say anything special about Slims. The decor is...typical bar. An ok place to get a bite to eat but nothing great.More

We were there 2 times over the course of 6 weeks. Our first visit rendered a phenomenal meal. My husband had a Reuben sandwich and I had a grilled piece of cod. My fish was so good that we decided to go back. This past...Friday I had pecan crusted fish and was disappointed with my choice. The coating lacked much flavor. My husband had a cod fish fry this time, and wished he'd once again had a Reuben. The servers are nice, but my 7 and 7s (I had two this last time) were pretty weak. Oh well!More

Ate at Slims for the first time tonight. I was craving a fish fry and most bars only have it on Fridays which is unfortunate- most of Slims fish is available Friday as well, but the fish and chips is available whenever. The fish was...very good, I really liked the breading which was light and crisp. It came with fries, Cole slaw, and some rhye bread. I also had a cup of the broccoli cheddar bacon soup which was good, but not thick and creamy as I was expecting. I had a bloody mary to drink- which was alright, but it was actually almost sweet tasting so I will probably stay away from that in the future as I prefer mine spicy. My fiance had the smoked wings on special tonight which were very good and a great price- 20 of them for $9.99. The Guinness on tap is great too! We will certainly be back!More

All the food here is good but we like the Friday fish fry the best. Great fish choices and delicious food.

We take employees here for lunch. The owner is really nice, the atmosphere is relaxing, and we love the free pretzels and cheese. The food has always been good and the beers cold.

We love this neighborhood bar and eatery. A fun Irish pub atmosphere, but also a good spot to watch sports or just meet friends. Excellent fish fry.
