We stopped here after searching for BBQ in the Mishicot area, and this one wasn't too far away. We entered a fairly plain and large building with the menu on the wall, but a long bar. I figured it would be standard bar food and pre-made sides. I was pleasantly surprised when we received our meals and enjoyed every single bite! I ordered the meatloaf sandwich with mac and fries, my husband the burnt ends with beans and noodle salad. You also receive a chunk of cornbread with the meal. The meat was deliciously smoked and super flavorful. The meatloaf was fresh and thick, and the burnt ends were very meaty, not as crunchy as some we've had. The sauce (I didn't try the hot) was tangy and tasted good on everything. The fries were good, but I wish I had ordered another of the homemade options. I can see why someone at another table ordered a double side of mac. . . cheesy, creamy, yummy! The beans were yummy, too, not too spicy, but a bit of a kick. My only criticism would be that the bun was a bit dry. I also would recommend a meatloaf dinner, maybe without the bun and giving 2 pieces.

Yesterday, my wife and I joined my two sisters, their husbands, and my cousin from Arizona at Marko's, a place I had never heard of. I sat down, looking at the menus before deciding on the 1/3 rack of ribs. The two sides I ordered were the potato salad, which was better than anything else I've ever gotten from a deli, plus the baked beans. Every order came with a huge hunk of cornbread, which was very moist. When my order came, I picked up one of the ribs, and the meat literally fell off the bone. I knew that I was in for a huge surprise. On the table were two bottles of mild and spicy sauce. The spicy sauce had a bit of a kick to it, but not overwhelming. The place is a bit out of the way, but well worth it!

We stopped in for a charity event taking place there. I love bbq so going there for the event just made since. We got food to go. I also purchased a bottle of their bbq sauce. Ordered a full rack of ribs and a pound of brisket. Along with some nachos. The wife and kid loved the nachos. Brisket was tender and good flavor. The ribs had a great taste and stayed on the bone but was nice and bite thru. I make a lot of bbq and have competed in the past also. The meat was excellent. On the other hand I did not like the sauce but I wouldn’t hold that against them. Everybody has different likes and dislikes. Just wasn’t for me.

they have odd hours during the week. But walked in asked the gentleman at the counter what he would recommend for that evening. He gave me a few choices. And I went with the Burnt Ends and they were great. Looking at the other reviews it is hit or miss. But with a recommendation from the staff on that day was perfect

Got a mixture of their offerings to go. Smoked turkey was dry, pulled pork was fatty and ribs were tough. Maybe it was just a bad day.

About 30 of us came in after a baseball tournament. They were extremely accommodating and great with the kids. Beer selection was very good, food was awesome, and service very good. My wife and I had pork sandwiches and our son’s had ribs. They ever stayed open later than their scheduled closing time. Check this place out!

The ribs are really tasty and the selection of sides is great. I've dined in and gotten take-out. If you go away hungry, that's your own fault.

The food is FANTASTIC!! We had sandwiches -- brisket and pork belly. The buns are perfect, the meat is SO tender and tasty. You really don't even need to add BBQ sauce. The cornbread is BEYOND delicious -- it is moist, not crumbly, and the taste is great. The mac and cheese is also delicious -- I don't know if it IS, but it TASTES homemade -- like your Grandma's (but BETTER!!). The atmosphere is fun -- concrete floor, red & white checked tablecloth, lots of open space. Service was fast and very friendly!! Can't say enough good things about the place, the food and the people.

I had Brisket chili and a pulled pork sandwich. It's been 6 months and I'm still telling my son I want to go back for more. Excellent smoke on the brisket and pork. I highly recommend this place for BBQ lovers. Going back in 2 weeks. I told the chef "Don't change a thing". Damn good BBQ.

If you want REALLY good BBQ, this is your place. It’s not fancy. Kind of like eating in torn garage....but it’s Excellent quality. We haven’t found anything on the menu we dislike. The beef burnt ends are like eating candy. The sauces are great. They have good beer if you want one. The corn bread is to die for. Recommend!!!!!!

The food here rivals anything down South. The brisket is fantastic, the burnt ends are delicious, the loaded brisket chili is great, and the side of homemade mac and cheese puts other mac and cheese in the area to shame. But, per DH, the outstanding award goes to the cornbread! The decor is much like a sports bar in a somewhat run-down looking building from outside. But the inside is seemingly under renovation. We plan to return to Marko's!

I like mine naked, and this was divine. Nice and smoky. Mac and cheese was very cheddar-y. It's located about two blocks west of the Cobblestone Inn, on the same side of the highway.
