This restaurant wasn't my first choice for dinner on a Valentine Day Weekend. Our first choice did not take reservations and the wait was almost 2 hours so my wife and I decided to try someplace new (for us) in the area and picked this restaurant based on its high rating. We were not disappointed. The wait for a table was exactly what the hostess told us it would. We found two stools at the bar to wait out the time. The bartenders were very busy that night but still took the time for small talk. They made us two great Old Fashioned Sweets (Wisconsin style). I was curious about one of their bourbons and was surprised that the bartender offered to pour me a sample to try on the house. Being this is a steakhouse my wife and I both chose the steak specials from their valentine weekend menu and both were cooked to perfection. My wife is picky with how she wants her steak cooked and usually has to have the meat sent back because it isn't cooked right. Not here, though. This was the first time I ever was unable to finish a steak and took half of it home. The quantity of food was more than enough for both of us. We rarely go to a steakhouse because we have a great butcher shop where I grill steaks as good if not better than most steakhouse but I would come back to this one. The meals could be consider pricier than others in the area but the steaks were well worth the price.

Stake house with a little splash of supper club. Food and service were spot on. Not cheap but worth it. My only rub is I didn't like being served a $40 dollar meal from a gal in a t-shirt and jeans. I'm in no way a snob but Diane Hendricks can grab some change from the bottom of her purse and buy the staff some professional uniforms. Just sayin.

The decor was that of most upscale steakhouses, big comfy booths, black and white photos on the wall, but the food was incredible. I also felt like the value was incredible. The same meal in Chicago would have cost twice as much. The service was very good as well.

So we thought this would be an upscale steak house. We were seated (with reservations) in a back room that looked like a hotel conference room with cheap seats and cheaper decor. My husband's steak was burned on the outside and my mushroom ravioli literally had no sauce. The waitress offered us a special on a bottle of wine, then came back to say they were out. She offered a substitute (mind you our menus were long gone) and then charged us $12 more for the bottle which I thought was a "slick" move. Don't waste your money at this place.

I was here before Christmas with a large group on Saturday night. The bar area is very small for a large group. We ended up going to table right away. Bartenders work hard and make some great custom drinks. Our server was overwhelmed with work and therefore our service suffered. Does anyone get trained any more? Onto food: appetizer round went well with a variety of appetizers for our group. Salad over dressed and not interesting, tasted like it was made 12 hours prior to dinner. Disappointing. I ordered feature steak which was overpriced and over cooked and not seasoned. Bread was served after main course, hmmmm.

My husband's steak was quite underdone (ordered medium and the steak was somewhere between rare and medium rare). We decided not to send it back due to the anticipated wait time but had assumed a steak joint would know how to prepare a steak. Perhaps more frustrating is that we had made reservations over a month in advance and were seated in a cold and uninviting conference/banquet room. The lack of ambiance definitely did not make us feel like the $100+ dining experience was worth it.

This place is small inside, poor service, and our chicken and steaks were not very tasty. The prices are high for the serious lack of food quality and service. The bar area is small but nice so good if you don't mind paying alot more than other places for a drink.

We booked online on the open table app it was very convenient we have done this before other places and have had great success. The atmosphere was great the server was young NEW TO SERVICE INDUSTRY and very nice. My husband and I were looking for a new restaurant within an hour of home this was 51 minutes and an easy drive. We looked at the menu ahead f time and knew we were set on the Filet with the Oscar add on. soup was good the calamari were under cooked (we never mentioned the app being off a little as we were happy to be out on a Monday to celebrate our union) and the red sauce was too sweet for the dish. However when the filet Oscar it was topped with a crab cake. This was the biggest turn off for us we were set on Crab meat when your dish costs $50 after add ons it should be what the menu says. The manager tried to make it right by offering us another meal Togo we declined our dinner and declined the Togo meal as well. Please update your staff to advice that is not crab meat and is a crab cake with the Oscar option. Gross

My significant other and I stopped in to see if their pricey steaks were worth the money. Unfortunately, I would argue they are not. I ordered a ribeye that was cooked to my liking (medium rare), but just wasn't very tender and lacking in the flavor department. My significant other ordered a fillet that was slightly undercooked, a little lacking in flavor, but worse so it was not tender (nobody wants a tough fillet). That said it was still edible, and our appetizer (coconut shrimp) was pretty tasty. On a posative note, the atmosphere was nice, waiter was good, and my whiskey on the rocks was not skimped on. With all that said, maybe we unlucky with our steaks, but at that price you would expect consistency in quality. Perhaps their other food options are better, but I would say avoid the 40 dollar steaks.

Went to celebrate our anniversary and was surprised with a glass of complimentary champagne to start our wonderful meal. Drinks are average price and tasty. The french onion soup was very good. If you like seafood, I recommend getting a steak with " The Works" its a yummy seafood mix with breadcrumbs topped on a tender steak. The only thing is the steaks weren't as on point with the cooking temp as some other steak joints but even with that said they are still very tasty!

M&H has always been a mainstay. Great steak, great atmosphere. Sadly it seems to be steadily falling from glory in some respects. The bar is so packed on weekends (due to live music maybe?) that getting a seat for an Oldie or Manhattan is tough. Food is still above average, but far from it's heyday (underdone filet and onion strings, no more clove of roasted garlic garnish, salty soup). Service has dropped as well (it took the table next to us to ask about the specials for us to hear them after we had already eaten half our meal). My advice, remember what made you awesome and get back to basics.

Pretty good but kinda expensive for a restaurant in a hotel. Crab cake appetizer shouldn’t be called “Maryland Crab Cake” or whatever they’re called as they would get thrown away in Maryland. Lol. They were ok, just not even close to something in MD. Service at the bar was good.

Cozy booth. Excellent Prime Rib entree...served with warm rolls, soup or salad. We chose the mashed potatoes to go with it & enjoyed the coconut shrimp appetizer beforehand. Our waitress was very friendly & helpful. We'll be back!

The coconut shrimp appetizer with the strawberry colada sauce was excellent. The lobster bisque I had was ok, and my girlfriend liked her salad. I got the Ironworks steak. I ordered it medium rare and it came more on the well side of medium. The toppings were ok, a little salty. The Parmesan au gratin potatoes were bland. The petite strip my girlfriend had was a little overcooked. She got a bordelaise sauce and was glad for it because the steak on its own would have been dry and bland. The creamed spinach side we got to share was really good and our server was excellent. If I go back again, I will try one of their non-steak entrees.

We dined here once and came back a second time for after dinner drinks, while staying at the hotel. Grouper entree was amazing but very pricey (~$40); NY Strip was a bit disappointing and also price (~$45). Service was very good both times. We enjoyed the bar area very much. The Italian Wedding soup was delicious
