Four of us went to this steak place tonight. We all ordered a steak called a “rib eye fillet”. I don’t know what kind of steak it was, but it wasn’t a rib eye and wasn’t a fillet. All 4 steaks were very tough. My...More

Merrill's Steak House is located in the Iron Works Hotel right in downtown Beloit Wisconsin. They work hard to be the best and it shows in the food they bring to your table. One of the tastiest ribeye steaks I've ever had!

It was a great meal. The food was excellent. My ribeye is one of the best steaks I’ve had in the area. Definitely a great place to celebrate special occasions.

Hands down the best steak I have ever encountered, and that says a lot coming from a foodie like myself. The oysters rockafeller and crab stuffed mushrooms were mouth watering! Absolutely delicious. The steak itself was ordered rare and it was perfect. I have always...More

We love this place although it's a bit small so wait times can be very long if you don't make a reservation far enough in advance. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good.

This past weekend, four couples went to Merrill & Houston for an anniversary party. Our server Amy handled the table of eight effortlessly. Each of the eight had a different entre and all were excellent. Soup and salads were well done and tasty! The restaurant...More

This restaurant is in the Ironworkers Hotel. Make sure you walk through the lobby and look at the stuff on the walls. The restaurant itself is well-managed. We sat at a table near the windows and just off the bar, so we could see the...More

Just about anything goes. Some people were in jeans, while others wore very dressy clothes.
