No longer worth the money - we have now ordered here to go 3 times and all 3 times the fajita order has been wrong. The food that is correct with the order is over cooked & dried out. Extremely disappointing, I used to love...this place.More

We had early evening reservations for 9. There were 2 other large groups as well as 2 separate tables of two when we arrived. Only 1 person serving for all of the tables. Service was painfully slow for the first 20 minutes but then help...arrived and all was good after that. Service improved and the food was great for everyone. Great mexican food at good prices. Friendly staff.More

Friendly, but slow service, noisy and untidy poorly maintained facility. Food is indifferent, leaning toward the difficult ti chew, enjoy or digest. We are trying to get to like Mexican cuisine, so we visited this and all the other Mexican places around here. No luck. Perhaps...we ordered the "wrong" dishes, but stil . . . We will try some more expensive places --- perhaps in Chicago etc. But this place will not turn anyone into a fan of Mexican food.More

Great attention from the waitress. Food was better than okay but the pork rib was gristly. The atmosphere was very adobe. I will return to this restaurant.

Went to La Casa Grande after church today on a recommendation. When we arrived, there was no one in the restaurant. That was a bit disconcerting! Needless to say, the place filled up shortly. Good stuff, though! Warm chips and salsa, Chimis, tacos al pastor,...seafood entrees - everyone was pleased. A very nice choice in Beloit. I’d be very happy to stop in again if in town.More

We had a huge family get together here. We were in the party room. We had two waitresses and the service was great. Everyone got the items they ordered and all was delicious. We were able to visit and enjoy the evening. We will definitely...be back!More

La casa grande has very good Mexican food. They also deliver and have carry out. Burritos are huge, margaritas are excellent. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

My daughter and I stopped in for dinner recently. Although we were early for dinner, we were treated well and offered terrific, delicious Mexican food. The waiter was charming and attentive. We were well cared for. The food was so good.

This restaurant is great value for money for a tex-mex style meal. I had the tamales which were alright, food came out quickly and we had plenty of tortilla chips and salsa. Plenty of food on the plate and friendly service.

Had lunch here during a business trip. Food was served fresh and hot. But it was just typical Mexican fare - chimichangas, quesadillas, etc.

Chile Rellenos is great. I dont like mole sauce and they are great about substituting white cheese sauce instead. Friendly staff.

The building and location are deceiving. Located in an old brick building on the west end of downtown Beloit you’d never know the great dining experience that you’ll have inside. The decor is dark wood with a strong Mexican theme. There is a bar for...before dinner drinks. Bartender was nice and attentitive and the margaritas were good. We sat in a booth that was well lit and comfortable. Our server Brenda was fantastic! She kept our free chips and salsa plates full as we took our time ordering. She even brought us fresh guacamole when we requested it. We ate fajitas and fish tacos for our main meal. All were hot, flavorful and fresh. They have several desert choices which several of us tried. They were huge so I’d suggest sharing. The best part of dinner was the service. Brenda was a college student who was engaging and checked on us many times. We will be back. Prices were reasonable. With a few drinks, meal, desert and a 20%+ tip our check was about $120. Entrees were in $10-$15 range.More

Food was plentiful and ok but the service witness was terrible. Salsa was descent with it being sweet (my partner does not care for) but the other food was lacking in flavor. Last time we ate here I remember the food bursting full of flavor/...spice but this time it needed salt and hot sauce which was disappointing. The main reason why I rated this terrible was we witnessed a male waiter (not our waiter) coughing in his hands multiple times while serving another table's food and also grabbing them a to go box without ever washing his hands! We will not return.More

I always get the fajitas and they never disappoint. The nachos are good, and they make a pretty good margarita, too.

Very good food and large menu options. Portions are substantial. IF you can have Lorinda as your server it will make your visit even more enjoyable. Dinner was not rushed and the selections from the Bar were great. The food was not spiced with the...typical mexican flavors, but more simple to extend the flavor of the meat and veggies. The tortillas were fresh and warm. A very large facility yet quiet and comfortable. Thanks Lorinda!!!!More
