Friendly and courteous staff, love the atmosphere. Food was great quality with very little wait time. I had the blackened salmon penne and it was perfect! Next time I'm trying the prime rib!

Cant say a lot on this one. Service is almost the worst i have ever seen. Throw you in a seat & there you sit for 15 or 20 min, no drinks,no waitress,no attention at all. Food was just ok. Im sure they lost my return trip & i live around the corner. Really kinda bummed on this one. I... More

Nice to find a local place that has great prime rib. My husband was very pleased with his--very tender, flavorful and no waste. My roast beef sandwich was also very good. The bun was fresh, lightly buttered and toasted giving it a nice little crunch. Roast beef was tender with the right amount of seasoning and not overly salty. We've... More

We went here based on reviews while passing through town with my family. Man are we happy we did. The young lady bartender was very welcoming when we entered the resturant. She greeted us immediately while having a full bar she tended too. She sat us promptly and proceeded to get us drinks and tell us the specials for the... More

Recently went there twice in one week. The first time we had a waitress that was not so bright. She kept bringing the food and drinks to the wrong person. The second time, our server was Pat (I think that was her name), she was GREAT! She was the only one there that has been nice and personable. Most of... More

We stopped in on a Friday right about noon and the place was busy so we just sat at the bar (which we like to do). Peggy, the bartender, promptly greeted us and was very friendly. I ordered the Cod Sandwich and my husband ordered the Lounge Dip. The cod was lightly battered on a toasty bun with homemade fries... More

This is your Family style Bar and Restaurant, The food is always done the way it should be. The Prime Rib is our favorite, but the Philly steak is a close second. The Cocktails aren't bad either. The Staff are very personable about helping out with specials also.

Yes, they say it is a locals favorite, and the place is always packed (It's a small restaurant/bar) and I have friends who love this place. We went for dinner the other night and had to sit in the bar area, took a bit of time to get service. Food was average. I had the Prime Rib sandwich - not... More

This restaurant serves the best fish and prime rib in this County of Sauk. We have tried other restaurants, but always return to this one. If you want to get in to eat immediately the best time is 4:30 in the afternoon. The wait can be 20-30minutes long. BUT it is worth every minute of wait time!

I googled Baraboo Wisconsin, best fish fry and was directed to Quindt's Towne Lounge. I sat at the bar and was truly impressed by the wrong end the owner and the quality of friendly service. I talked to a couple of patrons on each side of me and was given rave reviews. I had the cod fish fry with the... More
