Recently went there twice in one week. The first time we had a waitress that was not so bright. She kept bringing the food and drinks to the wrong person. The second time, our server was Pat (I think that was her name), she was GREAT! She was the only one there that has been nice and personable. Most of... More

We stopped in on a Friday right about noon and the place was busy so we just sat at the bar (which we like to do). Peggy, the bartender, promptly greeted us and was very friendly. I ordered the Cod Sandwich and my husband ordered the Lounge Dip. The cod was lightly battered on a toasty bun with homemade fries... More

This is your Family style Bar and Restaurant, The food is always done the way it should be. The Prime Rib is our favorite, but the Philly steak is a close second. The Cocktails aren't bad either. The Staff are very personable about helping out with specials also.

Yes, they say it is a locals favorite, and the place is always packed (It's a small restaurant/bar) and I have friends who love this place. We went for dinner the other night and had to sit in the bar area, took a bit of time to get service. Food was average. I had the Prime Rib sandwich - not... More

This restaurant serves the best fish and prime rib in this County of Sauk. We have tried other restaurants, but always return to this one. If you want to get in to eat immediately the best time is 4:30 in the afternoon. The wait can be 20-30minutes long. BUT it is worth every minute of wait time!

I googled Baraboo Wisconsin, best fish fry and was directed to Quindt's Towne Lounge. I sat at the bar and was truly impressed by the wrong end the owner and the quality of friendly service. I talked to a couple of patrons on each side of me and was given rave reviews. I had the cod fish fry with the... More

Living in Baraboo, this is our favorite restaurant. Have never been disappointed in coming here all these years. Owners are great, staff is great and most of all, the food is great. On this particular night (3/26/16), we had a small get together with family from out of town. Neither my brother or my cousin had ever been here before.... More

Always a very nice place to go for either lunch or dinner. Everybody knows everybody, the owners are great and most of all the food is always good. On the night we went, it was Prime Rib night. I ordered a Prime Rib sandwich. Peggy our server asked me if I wanted it cut from the roast for $3.00 more,... More
