Had a opportunity to have breakfast here recently. Unbelievable food & good service. Place was packed with the after church crowd I'm guessing because it was 11:00 am on a Sunday morning. Need to get back for lunch one of these days soon!

some of the best buttermilk pancakes I have ever had. This IS our breakfast place anytime we are near the dells. Our waitress was really friendly, I wish I could remember her name to give her proper thanks. She was there Monday morning July 4th. We were the couple with the thermos of hot water. Thanks again!!! Partially because of... More

This was a very charming a friendly small venue. I loved the cheddar beer soup. They had a great burger and endless iced tea!

I have such a hard time deciding what to order -- my drool overcomes me! Best buttermilk pancakes; outstanding chef salad; soups & sandwiches galore (with seasonal treats)! I love their Eggs Benedict & hash browns... YUM !!! The wait staff are all so personable & fun.

We stopped here for breakfast and I have to say the food was good. I had a mushroom and cheese omelet. The omelet was very good, had lots of cheese, and was cooked about as perfect as an omelet could be. It came with hashbrown's that had lots of flavor. The service was quick and fast. She had some trouble... More

We were visiting Baraboo and had stopped at Von Klaus for wine tasting and asked Ken where he would recommend eating lunch. He told us we should try Jen's and are we glad we did! This restaurant has been around since the 30's. My husband ordered the French dip and I had the harvest turkey burger. Both were excellent. We... More

Kind of what you would expect in a small town cafe, good food but understaffed on a weekend. Decor would be a stretch to call it retro.

We've eaten here many times, usually the soup. Last time in the soup was so salty neither of us could eat it. We were not offered a substitution or a reduction in the bill. We paid for two bowls of soup that we left on the table. If you want the soup, ask for a sample! If they won't give... More
