This is the best prime rib I've had in years. It's an old barn so we were a bit repetitious entering, but once we received our food we were very pleased. We couldn't believe how good the prime rib sandwiches were. Fine beer selection also. Just realize that it is an old barn, not fancied up. .

The Barn is located near Baraboo on the road to beautiful Devils Lake. We have eaten there several times this summer. But last Friday night we had a really wonderful dinner of delicious fried calamari, escargot in garlic sauce and beer battered fried fish. It was done perfectly. Our server Ellie was sweet and attentive as always. The owner Amber... More

My wife and I go here as a go to for multiple types of events....afternoon beer after hiking at devils lake, for a snack, or for dinner. We always have a good experience. We both like the prime rib and never leave hungry. Our favorite appetizers: bacon wrapped tots, calamari and cheese curds. They do have a good beer selection... More

This place was described to me as a transformed barn that uses locally grown food. Sounded great, but that's where the greatness ended. There is a bar immediately when you enter and then one large dining room. There is a live musician in the corner of the dining room who's music and comments involve really only the corner of the... This is our first visit to The Dells. I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and BONUS found a coupon on Restaurant.com. It is located in a very quaint rustic barn, but the atmosphere is a bit like the Wisconsin Supper Club I had heard of. We arrived around 2pm, for a late lunch. We asked what the special was,... We wanted to try a new place and found this on Tripadviser...The food was great, we were celebrating my brothers birthday. Each of us had something different, prime rib, fish fry, chicken sandwich, steak, and prime rib sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and drinks, huge selection of beers. Did I mention dessert they make everything right there and had four... More

They say there's over 200 kinds of beer available here, if that's your thing. We went on a Sunday night and unfortunately one of the cooks didn't show up for work, creating quite the delay in service. The food was good, but the stellar dish (IMO) was the escargot. Buttery, garlicky, goodness with the meaty texture of portobellos. Snails to... More

Went for the Friday Night Fishfry (Wisconsin tradition). The fish was good, typical fish-fry fare (breaded). Salad bar is served with the meal, again, typical but nothing special. The best part was the one-man entertainment provided in the dining area. The singer/guitar player performed songs from the 60's & 70's. Nice background music, not too loud and very familiar songs... We found the food to be delicious and delightful. Service was a little slow because there was only one waiter for lunch, but he ran as fast as he could and it was well worth the wait. The Portabella French Onion soup was a meal in itself, the Blue Gill was perfectly done, and the Hog Wings were an unexpected... More

Went for Friday Night Fish. Had the 2 piece cod dinner. Received 2 "pieces" of cod measuring about 2" x 3" x 1/2 ". My personal opinion was that it was a very small portion for the price I paid. Normally when we go there, we are satisfied with our food. This time, that was not the case.
