Where is the fish

Where is the fish. I couldn’t decide whether to order the full whitefish dinner or the half whitefish dinner since I’m not a very big eater. Decided to order the full whitefish Cajun. I received one small filet for my full Fish dinner Now I like to fish and I know a fish has two fillets. I questioned the waitress and she said that’s a full dinner. I’m telling you it’s not enough food for a kid let alone a $17 full dinner where in the hell is the fish. Sadly disappointed had to order more food so I could have a meal.

Great food / casual atmosphere

Nice local place, good food. And about the only place we visited on our trip that didn’t have a huge wait and long service time. Sunday night is a breasted chicken special and it was great. Pizza was also good but they ran out of the smaller 10” so we had a lot of leftovers. Staff was friendly and very clean. There are a number of higher end restaurants in Baileys Harbor but this seemed to be best option we found for a casual / relaxed atmosphere that wasn’t a budget breaker.

Was recommended by the Captain of Door County Adventure Tours. The four of us ordered the Summer wrap, BLT, fried chicken sandwich and the foghorn burger. All of us were very pleased with the quality of the food. Service was excellent as well

What the Heck?!?!

It was not a good week at Cornerstone. We are regular customers. Cajun whitefish is my go-to. This week, Monday, it was “fishy.” My friend’s walleye was also “fishy.” Coleslaw was tasteless. 4 nights later, we can back on Valentine’s night with a party of 10. It took a long time to get our food and once it started to be served, it took 15 minutes for everyone to be served. Food brought out for last 3 at our table and one person’s order was still not ready. At this point, the dining room had a couple empty tables. The group was uncomfortable with eating before all were served. Some did. Some did not. Not Pleasant! Hope these are just “ bumps in the road.”

Still Fantastic!

With the impact Covid has on on staffing and procedures it is GREAT to see that the Cornerstone Pub has not lost a step in providing a delicious, service centered experience. We had a large group of 10 and all of us had a super meal. The fish options are fresh. All of the portion sizes were plentiful and it's a great spot to get fried cheese curds. Thank you for keep up your tradition of excellence.

Best Chicken Wings!

Very busy pub on the corner as you enter Baileys Harbor. Hubby ordered a burger and I ordered a bowl of their homemade chili. As a quick side, I ordered a basket of teriyaki wings with fries because it was my birthday and I LOVE wings. Hubby’s burger was big and juicy but didn’t come with fries. He said it was really good. My chili was also good. It was mild to medium spiced, definitely tasted homemade and came with a packet of oyster crackers. I added cheese. The wings were outstanding! Crispy outside and juicy inside. The fries were also hot, crispy and salty. Plenty to share. This place was packed. All the tables were full, all the high top bar tables were full and every single spot at the bar was taken. Says something about the popularity and quality of the food. Definitely glad we stopped in. We came right at noon and got a high top table in the bar area. People who came about one o’clock thinking they’d miss the lunch rush were the ones who had to wait or come back. Just saying…come early or come much later. But definitely come. PS: The menu is on a sheet of paper. The website has pictures of many items that are NOT currently being offered. Basically bar food and pizzas only. Come for the yummy wings…we’ll be back next trip!

Good Friday Fish Fry

We had just gotten into town and wanted a close place for a good meal relatively quick meal. We had to wait just a few minutes for an outside table. There was also seating inside with masks required to walk in but not while eating or drinking at the bar. All employees were wearing them. The baked white fish was good with a more than adequate size fillet. It also came with a choice of potatoes, cole slaw and rye bread. My husband had the walleye fish fry. Tasting it myself it was good however he mentioned having a few small bones. Other than that it was a good quick meal in a good spot with a view of the lake across the street. I would recommend to family and friends.

Salmon dinner is great

Visited for dinner and drinks. The wine list has some inexpensive wines, and they are good. They have good beers too. The salmon dinner is very good...sauce is served on the side with a fresh vegetable. Also had choice of potato. Wisconsin Cheese Curds are tasty and plentiful. Pan Fried Walleye was excellent too. It's a nice spot to visit, the staff is friendly and take good care of customers. Give them a try when you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Decent food friendly servers

Our dinner started with a bowl of clam chowder, which was very tasty. We both ordered a perch dinner. The dinner came with choice of potato, mine small red, my wife’s baked. We ordered the perch fried. All was very good. This is a small place, with a bar and table seating. Don’t expect gourmet, expect good food at a good price, served by a friendly people.

Best Reuben sandwich ever!

Stopped for a casual dinner. My server, Debbie, was very friendly and attentive. She recommended the Reuben and it did not disappoint. I am not normally a fan, but it was the best Reuben I've ever had - with real corned beef and homemade dressing. It was a busy place for a Wednesday night and I can certainly see why. Excellent service and delicious food!

Delicious Bloody Marys and Fantastic Reuben!

We happened upon this place when we stopped in Bailey's Harbor - what a hidden gem! It seemed to have more locals than tourists so we were hopeful that we were in for a delicious lunch and we were right! The Bloody Marys were flavorful and came with a chaser (a must in our world). I had their Reuben based on our server's recommendation. It was one of the best I've ever had. My husband had the fish sandwich (cajun and locally sourced whitefish) which was also tasty.

Very disappointing. Would never go again

This was such a disappointing visit to the pub. We have been there many times over many years and this was the worst. I don’t write many bad reviews but I was so disappointed. I have no issue waiting for food but took a very long time and it was obvious that our food sat under warmers for a long time. It was cold and everything had a film. There was a bug in our food and they brought us another one which was great but obvious so much better than the initial salad that was so gross from sitting around. The service was terrible and had to ask for everything. The only time anyone asked if things were ok was after I said no to boxes for food. Because no one wanted to take anything home. Such a disappointing visit for almost $200

Fish Fry is Fantastic!

My husband and I were looking for a spot to get a fish fry. We saw this place online and figured we would give it a try. Their fish fry was AWESOME. They had a great price and 5-6 different types of fish to choose from! Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a great Friday Fish Fry!

We will be back

Came on a Monday night. We got seated ordered drinks. Got drinks. Ordered big ass pretzel and baked whitefish with potato salad. Appetizer came with meal. Pretzel was over baked and whitefish tasted very fishy tartar sauce helped that. Potato salad was excellent. Our waitress was very good and said she had only been there 5 days. We have been here many times in past. So we will be back

Seafood Chowder is Amazing

Was seated quickly and she took our drinks. I laughed when I requested a diet Pepsi or coke and said said they only had diet RC. Omg, Took me back to the Rams games drinking RC. I asked what the specialty was and she suggested the seafood chowder. Wow! Incredibly good. Shocking good. This is a must get if you like chowder. My french dip was good. I think the soup was so delicious that is overshadowed the entre.
