This business was completely destroyed by fire. No idea if they’ll reopen. The food was always good - claim to be the best hamburger in wheeling.

We had our hotel van drop us for dinner here, as it is ranked #1 restaurant in Wheeling and was only 0.7 mile away from hotel. We were dropped at 7:35pm because website said they closed at 9 (door said they close at 8:30 but...sign beside door says they close at 8pm) but they were so kind and said we had time for dinner. We split a Apple-Berry Salad (which was very large and extra fresh with green apple slices and dried cranberries with a wonderful balsamic vinaigrette) and a BLT with fries, which was delicious! We sat outside on the patio and had a delightful meal and evening. We had water for drinks and our ticket was $22. Go visit this delightful place!More

After a great bike ride up the Ohio River, we searched for a COVID friendly place to eat. Avenue Eats was the perfect answer with the best burger (Gouda) we’ve had in years and the grilled chicken berry salad that was sooo thoughtfully prepared. The...caramel blonde ice cream dessert was worth earning it on every mile of our bike ride. We will be coming back here every time we commute from OH to DC. 5 stars and great patio! Thanks also for taking COVID seriously to keep us all safe!More

While traveling home from a family service in Ohio we needed to stretch our legs and fill our bellies. I search our handy Trip Advisor app andd came up with Avenue Eats. What a perfect little neighborhood spot. We were promptly seated, our server was...knowledgeable and answered our questions accordingly, we placed our order and waited for the perfect burger to arrive. We waited no less than 6 or 7 minutes, our burgers were cooked perfectly and they tasted even better. They are not messing around, the chef definitely knows how to prepare a patty. Thank you Avenue Eats for a phenomenal meal.More

In town for business, and ordered take out. Best burger I have had in a long time. Even the side salad was fresh and delicious. I will be back.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch after starting on a long road trip. The lamb tacos were delightful, with just the right amount of kick, and the BLT was also wonderful. Nice little spot to stop.

This was my first visit and had the fried green tomato appetizer and the B.L.F.G.T. (Bacon Lettuce Fried Green Tomato) sandwich and they were both superb. The sriracha aioli had just the right amount of spice and the cornmeal on the tomatoes was done perfectly....There were 3 others on my business lunch and their burgers and grilled cheese were also phenomenal by their descriptions.More

We arrived just before the big lunch rush and immediately got a table inside. The interior is cute and cozy. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, although it was just so-so. My burger was pretty good, but it wasn’t the best I’ve...ever had. The salad and fries were ok. My niece ordered the apples and peanut butter, which I thought was a good choice to have on the kid’s menu. Maybe when I’m in town again I’ll give it another try.More
