Had lunch here during work day. The place was packed which is indicative of the good food. Had the Kelsey's Kickin Chicken. One of my usuals when I eat there.

We were on our way to Indiana and found this place on a search of lunch places in Wheeling. Boy are we glad we stopped. What a find. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes off the highway. The staff is truly attentive and the menu is superb. Very different from your typical sandwich place as they specialize in... More

I was just rolling down I 70 and pulled in based on other reviews. A charming place and a delicious crepe. I will make a point to stop here whenever I'm passing through.

Adorable restaurant in a great neighborhood. The bread and sandwiches were excellent. The desserts looked yummy. We found the service to be lovely. Highly recommended to stop in for lunch.

Incredible food, fantastic atmosphere, great puns. Small little restaurant that caught my eye with the neon "Later Alligator" sign and door that reads "Eat or We'll Both Starve," which I found clever. The inside is filled with old pictures, news clippings, and objects from the history of wheeling (specifically, Wheeling Steel). I ordered the Crêpes of Wrath and it was... More

This small restaurant in center market offers unique soups, sandwiches and crepes either as a meal or desert. No reservations needed but because it is small, I would recommend it for larger groups. There is outdoor seating in the beautiful courtyard in the rear of the restaurant

Later Gator has savory and sweet crepes. I don't know what their obsession with Nutella is, but you can get it on everything. Thank goodness they also have a chocolate sauce you can get instead by request. They have homemade soups and a large selection of sandwiches. Nothing on the menu is common to most other restaurants. I always get... More

My wife and I always bring visitors here for lunch. Sometimes, we just go ourselves to celebrate special occasions. Crepes are one specialty, with over a dozen variations, some savory, some sweet. Wraps are another specialty. And recently I had an excellent Reuben sandwich. Plus there are vegetarian options. The high pressed tin ceilings and Wheeling memorabilia decor add local... More

I could eat at Later every day and not get bored. The menu is unusual, with main course and dessert crepes, plus other Soups and Sandwiches. Worth a look at their online menu. Everything is ALWAYS tasty and attractively presented. The decor has a sort of exposed brick 1890's feel to it. The wait staff is fine. The location, in... More
