A little out of the way, but WORTH the scenic drive. The beers were good but the food was the star. Bison Meatloaf is a must! Try the onion rings were great. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet.

My wife and I stopped here for a late lunch / early dinner a week ago on our way home from a trip to Maryland. We each ordered the fish and chips, mine with fries and my wife's with hush puppies. Large portions, not greasy -- very good. We tried two of their beers, again very good.

Another unassuming place. I stumbled on this place by accident. Stopped in Wardensiville for late lunched and parked directly in front of Lost River Brewery without knowing it. In short the food and beer are awesome. Won't find a lot of places like this out in WV.

We had reservations, but stood around for about 30 minutes before we were seated and then we sat for 5-10 minutes before one of us asked the waitress for menus. She said we couldn't have them because they didn't have enough. Keep in mind there were several empty tables at this point. We finally cobbled enough menus to share around... More

Great food, diverse menu choices, relaxing environment. A welcoming place that would rival restaurants in the District.

We discovered this great little place several years ago and have eaten here half a dozen times or more, but have just not reviewed yet. We happened to be out for a Sunday drive this past weekend and got a hankering for their fabulous Nachos, truly out of this world. Whether it's for a complete meal or just beer and... More

We've been meaning to dine there but could never find the time. What took us so long? We drive right past the small sign and had to turn around but it was worth it. When our server said they smoked their meats in house, I knew I was going for the ribs. They were baby backs, cooked to perfection with... More

We recently stopped there for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised by the nice decorated interior. It does not look like much from outside, but inside it is clean and nice. The food was very good. The only thing I would recommend is for them to speed up a bit! The service was rather slow.

We stopped in for lunch as we were passing through town. It was a delicious meal enjoyed by two adults and two kids. It was a great environment for families...lots of choices that kids would like, but also high-quality food that would appeal to adults. We will definitely be back.

Stopped on our way to our cabin on a Friday night. We had reservations, but they were very busy and no tables. We waited about 15 minutes and a table coming open did not look promising. while we were debating (already 7:30) a nice table of three gentlemen asked if we would like to join them. We accepted and had... More
