One of my most favorite places to eat! I have been going to Café Acropolis for 10 years now and they never disappoint. The staff is so friendly, the atmosphere is an old farmhouse converted into a restaurant and just exudes charm. Very relaxing atmosphere. The food is exquisite. Greek food and homemade desserts are prepared fresh, every day. If... More

I had heard good things about Café Acropolis prior to my arrival in Summersville. I facilitated a business dinner here and the food (and service) were both wonderful. It's been a long time since I have had Greek food this good. The menu is very diverse. I ate here with a local business contact who has eaten here previously. They... More

Encouraged by other reviews, we found this out of the way (on a hill top in a residential area). Maintenance seems a low priority, and altho the patio was attractive with bricks under grape pergola, the ripped plastic tablecloth did not fit with $15 and up for APPETIZERS! Staff was average. So called Greek salad was iceberg lettuce with ONE... More

The atmosphere is incredible. Fancy yet jeans are acceptable. Very authentic cousins and style decor. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful. Never had Greek taste this good!!!

I turned around three times before finding the street....Cafe Acropolis is hard to find! Even when I arrived there was no hostess - I called them on my cell and they came out to seat me! It seems the family is working hard to please- food was seasoned well! Portions were healthy sized...not big! Prices reflect fine dining establishment....which I... More

Food was a little pricey. The fried cheese appetizer was just ok; for $20, I was expecting more. I had the Greek/Italian special which was pretty good 7/10. My girlfriend had the garlic and olive oil spaghetti, she gave it an 8/10. Homemade carrot cake was good 8/10.

Went for a family celebration and food was tasty. The homemade bread was unexceptional. I enjoyed the ice tea with mint. Fairly expensive for the locale.

Well worth the trip around the corner. Food is great, service is good and friendly. Owner is on site and friendly. This last part makes a real difference!

Why go to Applebee's and get a ziplock baggie of crap dumped onto your microwaved chicken breast? Get a meal made by an artist instead. These folks work very hard to bring a great experience to your meal. Yes it will be more expensive and yes it will be great. Support a local business and open your eyes to what... More

Food is always excellent here and service is always great!! Staff is very knowledgeable of the menu. I recommend the parthenon pantheon and you have to get the hummus as an appetizer. Only bad thing i can say is that although the food is always excellent it is also overpriced.
