Used to be great until all the Mexicans got shipped back. The greengos can’t even take a payment correctly, we had to leave our money on the counter along with 15 other people standing in line for 15 minutes.

Rio Grande is a little off the beaten path, but the quality of food and range of the menu are both fantastic. It's a bit small, but the lunch buffet is also well worth stopping in for, as it has a little bit of everything...More
Have lunch here pretty much once every two weeks. Love our lunches to catch up and share a great meal. Excellent service
I have been eating at Rio Grande for over 20 years. I went to the one in Nitro while I was in college 25 years ago and the food is still good. The Teays location just started a lunch buffet that is really good. You...More
Very polite wait staff and quick turn over for food. Small little strip mall restaurant but big on following. The first Rio Grande that I am aware of is located in Nitro, WV and is also a good restaurant, Locals always seem to visit both...More
The food service is decent, the food comes quickly, and the prices are cheap. If you are craving Mexican food and are on a tight budget, this is the place for you!
Family owned local chain offers good Mexican food at a great value. For those who like adult beverages their Margaritas are great. You will never leave this place feeling not feeling full.
The food is FAST and it's as authentic as you can get in WV. You can eat here inexpensively and you will be FULL.
I used to love Rio until I had Mexican at Rocas. It doesn't hold a candle to Roca's. The food was bland and the atmosphere is less than appealing.
Food quality has gone downhill steadily for years. So has customer service. Just not good anymore. The margaritas aren't consistent at all. We've stopped eating there.
