I came here for a business dinner. The staff was kind And the food was very good. I have a cheese enchiladas which I would order again if I come to town

Our favorite local Mexican restaurant

This is our favorite Mexican spot to visit as a family. The chips and white cheese sauce are amazing! There are many dinner combinations to choose from which are all tasty and reasonably priced. The taco salad is one of my favorites. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. One gentleman even shakes our hands when he greets us at the table. They have a mariachi Band on Monday’s that the kids enjoy.

Ate here while on vacation and it was delicious and a fun atmosphere. The chimichanga I ordered was delicious and the portion size was more than expected! I had enough in my doggie bag for lunch the next day. The restaurant was clean and the service fast and efficient. This one is on my list for the next time I am in the Parkersburg area.

Service is the worst, food is just OK

The service was the worst I have ever experienced in a restaurant. When we explained that that only half of the meal was served and the other half was served only after asking the manager/part owner said we were complaining about nothing and that there was two other Mexican restaurants just down the road. Food quality was ok but nothing worth being treated like crap. I hope no one makes the same mistake as we did and eats at this restaurant in the future. I travel for work through out the US and never experienced this type of service.

Subpar food (pretty bland), inattentive staff during visit. Took about an hour to get food. Would rank lower, but churro was decent. Most likely won't return.

Had Chorizo quesadilla and it was fair...not enough Chorizo but otherwise good. Hot and timely. guacamole excellent.

Had beef tacos which were excellent. Also had a very large margarita which was also very good. Service was fast and people were friendly. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

I enjoy eating there. The workers are so friendly. The food is very good. The queso cheese sauce is excellent. Several TVs to watch your favorite sports on. Areas for large groups. Always enjoy the service and meal. Best in town.

When El Mariachi first came to town , the food was pretty good. We were excited to finally have a Mexican resturant on our side of town! As usual, it seems for most restaurants in this area, after a year or two, the food quality and taste went" south of the border! " Others still go there, but most do not. I will say that the wait staff are friendly and quick, altho some have limited English. ,

The food is to the table fast with friendly waiters. Yummy and hot. Take a DD so you can try the delicious drinks. They have a kids night that is great also. Affordable.

Quick lunch or dinner ready for pickup in 10 minutes. A live little 3 piece mariachi band plays once a week, just about any song you can think of. Full bar with tv's. Friendly staff. We go once every other month for 10 years. Don't forget your church bulletin for a discount. They run daily food specials. See you there

Just not what it use to be

Use to love love love this place, but I seems lately the food has just been ...not as good as it was. Nacho Con Carnie was generous with the beef, but cold unmelted cheese and so sauce on them left them very dry. Beef enchilada had no taste...I mean you knew you were eating but no flavor to it. Staff is still friendly and prompt. L. Salsa for the chips is still rock solid awesome..so all is not lost. Hope they pick it up because Taco Bell is to close to them to not remain an option if I want disappointing Mexican food.
