If you want something DELICIOUS and healthy this is the place. This is THE BEST salad I had in years. I ordered a salad but the menu was large enough to have something for everyone. My salad had such fresh flavor with four kinds of berries, nuts, cheese, veggies of all kinds. They have at least 8 different kinds of... More

Had the tempeh grilled cheese which was pretty good. But the salad served before the meal was really good. Nice healthy option for Martinsburg. I will be there again with friends.

I have eaten at Good Earth several times and it is always a great. There are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, so it is a great spot for anyone with special dietary needs or preferences. Their desserts are exceptional too, there are usually samples out to view and it can be very difficult to decide. The only problem I... More

I got the crab wrap and a salad and I am so happy and full. If you are in the Martinsburg area this place is a must. Especially if you're a vegetarian.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent, especially considering that we arrived thinking they closed a half an hour later than they did. They were very accommodating considering that, and our food was prepared promptly and served expediently. I had a mushroom ravioli that was exquisite and a berry smoothie that was delectable!! Access to this place is... More

This is a quaint little restaurant that has homemade soups and great gluten free paninis. The ingredients are always fresh and different. There is also an outside area where you can enjoy the nice weather. The front of the restaurant has a little grocery where you can buy gluten free and vegan items. This place is the best kept secret... More

Good Natured is a great place at which to meet friends for a relaxing visit and a healthy lunch. The salads are fresh, delicious, and big. The sandwiches are quite tasty with several choices of bread. Very good iced tea.

Hard to believe there is really good vegan & vegetarian cuisine in small town west Virginie, but it's true. My favorites are the salads with all kinds of unusual greens, the frittatas & quiche when in the mood for eggs, and the homemade soups & meatless chili. It's also a great alternative foods market (though pricey) where you can find... More

Was so happy to discover this place. A hidden gem indeed. The mint ice tea was delicious. The best house salad with ginger dressing, everything was so fresh! I had the power burger and my husband had kale and mushroom soup and baby spinach salad. Everything was amazing! We will be back for sure!

Good Natured Market and Vegetarian Cafe: In 1930, my grandfather, Emmett Wilbarger, built and ran a small gas station just outside of Bridgewater, Virginia. He sold farm fresh eggs, crates of cheese and locally made potato chips. With the advent of franchise driven stores, the independent gas station became a thing of the past. With that in mind, Good Natured came into being. Jim and I opened our store in October of 2007. Our original intent was to become the neighborhood general store, specializing in eco-friendly products. In reality, today's "eco-friendly" really looks a lot like the things that my family sold - local, simple and well made. Over the past 8 1/2 years, I've come to realize that food is the driving force here at Good Natured, from the groceries and produce we sell to the homemade soups, sandwiches and desserts prepared in the cafe. Our beautiful old Victorian house is filled with good stuff for your house. We carry a little of everything....garden seeds, water filters, sandals, homeopathics, vitamins, key chains, toothbrushes, shampoos, essential oils, candles, incense, towels, socks, t-shirts, jazz, blues, reggae, folk & alternative rock CDs, water bottles, sprouting seeds, chocolates, organic coffee, bulk herbs, grains, beans, flours, local milk and eggs. If you are traveling it's a great spot for an extended break. Shop and then enjoy our "own" vegetarian burgers, a refreshing chai or our new Banana Chocolate Lava Cake. Everything is "made from scratch". We make the best grilled cheese, summer tart and vegetarian reuben in West Virginia....or so I'm told. We serve local beer and wine. (Gluten-free and Vegan)

Our cafe is closed on Mondays, but snacks are available for purchase thru the market. You may hang-out in the dining room or enjoy our outside patio. It will be time well spent!
