Needed a lunch break on 81 and Martinsburg had typical chain restaurants...wanted to support local and happened to find this a few miles south of Martinsburg. What a find! Cute little market inside selling fresh produce, pies and assortment of jellies and condiments. Inside the...restaurant had great rustic/mountain decor and was decked out for the holidays. Food was better than expected and at a great price. Megan our server was very nice and helpful and threw in some pumpkin pie for us to try. We also bought a massive Apple Pie to bring home. So glad we stopped here on our way home.More

Great food, friendly staff, good prices! What more could you ask for? Definitely recommend! Atmosphere was pleasant and didn’t have to wait a long time for the food.

Great service, good food, and a fun flight of beers! Plus it is located in a good local produce store. A great place to stop especially when on the road.

We were travelling through the area and wanted something good for dinner. So glad we found this place. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for dinner!

I expect an eatery to be flexible enough to deliver me my version of what they have to offer. I drove all day in the heat and sun, and had a craving for a big ol salad. The server was very accommodating about my request...for one of their salads that usually comes with cold chicken on it to be server sans chicken and for some blackened prime rib hot on it...... didn't happen, not even close. First a different server brought me a regular house salad, which I just kinda sat and looked at. My first server came and took it away. Then the second server brings me the salad I ordered but with the cold chicken shredded up all over the top of it; and a plate with a well done (microwaved) slice of prime rib on it. I couldn't even cut into it, it was so tough. OK, now my first server comes by, takes one look, and grabs the salad and the leather meat and goes away. She's back almost immediately, telling me that was the only piece of prime rib in the house. Tell me somebody, why do you run a special on prime rib when you only have one piece in the restaurant? Anyways, my server, bless her heart, did manage to hack up the leather meat and beat it enough that it was at least chewable.... This would have been a 1 star review, except my waitress was such a good egg. If you do go here, DON'T try to change anything or ask for anything different!More

This place is a gem! The food is consistent, well presented and the service is top rate. The menu is varied, so we can go a few times a week and have something different every time. The Reuben sandwich is just like New York City,...the salads are all interesting and fresh, paninis, clubs and burgers are excellent. Be sure to try the sweet potato fries with apple butter. There are specials to look for every day and a rewards program for frequent diners. Prices are reasonable as well.More

This place is close to I-81, just past a bunch of eateries you can find anywhere else in the country. Drive the extra couple feet and park out front and give it a shot. You won't be disappointed. For starters, Brittany my waitress was awesome-...very friendly and attentive (she needs a raise)! It was cold and blustery out, so I really needed some good warm food. Looking around while checking the menu: it's very clean and well-lit, the host and waitresses continually checking on guests, music playing but not obnoxious. I ordered the Pretzel Sticks & Creamy Beer Cheese, Cream Crab soup and a Classic Reuben on grilled marbled rye with homemade chips. Everything arrived fast and hot. I mean wait for it to cool before biting into it hot. Beer cheese? Great. Crab soup? AMAZING. Reuben? Awesomeness on awesome bread. Accompanied by homemade potato chips? Yes! My friends, just order it and see for yourself. (I attached pictures too!) And then there's the market store in front that you passed on the way in... get the blueberry cake donuts (imagine an apple cider donut but with blueberry... Yes, it was THAT good!). You're welcome. And did I mention it's a veteran's business? Yes, it is.More

Great burgers, fantastic beer selection, with multiple craft beers on tap, many from our awesome Mountain State. But the staff - from the GM down to every server I've ever had here - is always top-notch: friendly, efficient, professional. Places like this little gem need...to survive - please patronize if you can! You'll love your visit here and hopefully it will become multiple visitS.More

Had such a wonderful lunch! Food was fresh and delicious. Wait staff so friendly. I had the crab soup and husband had the fried pickles. We split the rueben and potato chips. So so good.
