Stopped by on a lark. Ended up bringing parents back the next day it was so good. Simple food with great taste. Recommend meatloaf, cheeseburger, and hot ham and cheese sandwiches. And the pie is to die for!!! Cherry and apple was what we had. Slices are huge and served with 2 scoops of ice cream.

I am in town this week on business and saw that the Central City Cafe had been on DD&Ds a few years ago and figured I'd give it a try. I was not disappointed! I got the soup and sandwich combo and it was great. I am hoping that I get to go back one more time this week and... More

We stopped in after visiting some of the antique shops, this is a great place for a "home cooked" meal! It is family owned and operated, they are great! Friendly and welcoming. Big portions too. I highly recommend.

Plenty to choose from and what I ordered was very good. This was my second trip to the Cafe and I will return next time I have the chance. Waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We had lunch today. My husband got the meatloaf and I got a Rueben. He said meatloaf maybe not his favorite but my Rueben was terrific. They serve the thousand island on the side ...glad they did cause I like mustard. Lots of meat and most delicious sauerkraut. A little expensive lunch...but dinner sized😋

This place was featured on Diners, drive-ins and dives and had great reviews. We found this place because of the show and it met the hype, great food and service. I will go back!

This hurts me to say because the owners are so nice but the food has really gone down hill. I had Baked Steak that was either old or so over-cooked it was actually hard on one half. The mashed potatoes were just awful ( how do you make MP uneatable?) and the green beans taste as if they were cooked... More

family owned and staffed, food is always very good, service polite , friendly and timely, interesting photo history of huntington on the walls, a real credit to the antique district and the city.

The place felt so old school and down home that I expected my grandma to come out of the kitchen to serve my food. All the nostalgia quickly diminished once I saw their menu. $4.75 for a grilled cheese. Almost $9 for a club sandwich. I had the chicken noodle soup. And for $6, I expected a bowl large enough... Best kept secret in huntington. Just a local restaurant ran by a family but great food and hospitality. Would recommend checking it out.
