We were in the area to spend a day hiking around the New River Gorge. TripAdvisor is always a reliable resource to find dining in a new area for us and SSS was highly recommended. Although we had a 45 minute wait on a Sunday afternoon, they have a roomy bar area to hang out in and a nice selection... More

Not your ordinary sandwich shop recipes but they are amazing! in house made chips as well. It was fairly busy there everyday we drove by. We just ordered take out but the inside looked like a cool atmosphere with a patio out back.

We just did the Phillip Sprague Mine(Beckley WV) tour and we came out hungry! We had several recommendations to eat at Secret Sandwich Society-SSS, so we headed there! First thing on menu that caught my eye was homemade potato chips and FRENCH onion dip! Yes please! They serve soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers! I got the Rawhide Burger that came... More

A very good place to grab lunch and a few drinks. Love the sandwich names; Winston Churchill is very good. There french fries are amazing.

This restaurant is so amazing! A one of a kind experience tucked away in Fayetteville. The food is amazing, staff and service impeccable, and a great selection of local brews. Very good price point as well! We eat here every time we visit! Make sure you get the pimento cheese fries loaded with bacon and jalapeños!!

Great sandwiches and beers. Nice little place. We sat on the covered porch even though it was raining. Service was good and prices were reasonable.

Found this little place on our way through town. My husband had the Garfield and said it could not have been better. I had the Washington and it was pretty good as well. Son had a Lincoln and also said the best sandwich of his 13 short years. Homemade ketchup, chips and dill pickle spears rip off the plate. Would... More

Great local restaurant, stopped by on a road trip and so happy we found it. Service was slow but the food made up for it. The bread alone was outstanding! Must stop if you are driving through.
