It is a good bakery. I love the birthday cakes, brownies, sundaes and long johns. Staff is also friendly

Honestly the best pastry shop in Charleston. Got my wedding cake here 5 years ago & it was top shelf. They also have the best “hot dogs” in the history of hot dogs. We get them at work all the time

After all these years, I’m saddened to say I will no longer use Spring Hill Pastry to get my sugar fill again. Up until this recent Thanksgiving (2019), the Spring Hill Pastry was one of a select few on my must do’s when I come...home to visit Mom. For some reason, I reluctantly asked if they had Military discount, the answer was unfortunately no but we’ll make sure not to forget to add the taxes. I rarely ask, at any establishment, and never expect a discount. I retired from the USAF in 2007 after serving 22 years with 10-deployments to Kuwait, Saudi, Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, and etcetera. Like I said I never ask and don’t know why I did this time, but after hearing the comment and the other young ladies laughing at my belittling expense, I just can’t walk through that door again; not necessarily because it was me but rather because I’m certain these ladies have shown the same lack of appreciation to my fellow brothers/sisters who’ve also served (in any branch). If only she had simply said no, the other ladies would not had insultingly laughed at me in front of my daughter but instead, she chose to take a demeaning path with an unpalatable bitter attitude.More

Spring Hill Pastry Shop has been part of our birthday and holiday traditions for as long as I can remember. You can't have a birthday without one of their amazing cakes. Their bread is absolutely amazing and if you haven't had one of their hot...dogs, you are truly missing out. You can't go wrong with any pastry or bread from this great little bakery.More

If you have a sweet-tooth, this is a must stop when visiting the Charleston area. The Pastry Shop offers a variety baked goods from breakfast pastries to Birthday cakes, but place your order early before they are gone. Note; this is a pastry shop, not...a sit in restaurant!More

There is a reason people travel 50+ miles to buy pastries here. It is simply awesome. We have shopped here regularly for years and can’t recommend it more highly.

This place is awesome. Any kind of sweet your heart desires. Old school but refined. Go ahead and try it out, you won't be disappointed.

I've been going to this place for 40 years and many of those years it's been great. However, over the past 10years or so the pastries have slipped in size, taste and even texture. I still go for nostalgic reasons and its landmark place in...our small city.More
