Though the restaurant isn't fancy, Main Kwong, has delicious, high quality food with lots of mixed vegetables. They are very receptive to special orders/deletions of items.

This is the best Chinese food in Charleston!!!!! They are always friendly and just recently remolded to give plenty of room for dinning. Try there crispy chicken and a egg roll!! It's the absolute best. The owner always remembers what I like and is happy to see my family

This was the first time I have ever dined-in at the restaurant. Have purchased take-out on multiple occasions. Very clean environment. Super friendly and attentive service. Good quality food. There is a small side-lot for parking off street. Plenty of room in dining area to accommodate larger groups. Affordable cuisine. Overall great experience! We look forward to returning.

Absolutely delicious. Their sesame chicken is off the chain. We do takeout at least once a month. Inside everyone is super nice. Great for a bite when you are downtown.

I used to order Main Kwong a lot when I worked at the hospital but quit there in 2007. I live over an hour away so don't get to eat there anymore. I was scheduled in Charleston for wisdom teeth extraction and thought what better soft food after surgery than rice. Main Kwong was the first place I thought of... More

We stopped in recently for my first time and picked up some take out. I'm not a big Chinese food fan do to our local restaurants but being from out of town this place is nothing like my local choices. I had sweet and sour chicken with white rice and it was cooked perfect. Inside the restaurant was also clean.... More

Singapore Noodles, extra spicy! I add pea pods. Food here is always fresh and delicious. The owner is amazing--remembers everyone. Love just about everything on the menu and they expanded their in-store seating--although we generally take out. The only thing I don't think measures up--dumplings.---too thick and need crunch/fresh element.

This is sister store to one in South Charleston called Main Tin. Both are popular. I do not know why, except people here do not know much about Chinese food. I do, having been raised in San Francisco. The menu is typically extensive but there are actually only 3 sauces used if that. Recently got some chicken fried rice which... More
