Me and my family went there and had a great experience. The food was great and the service was very fast we were only in there 45min so this is a very good place to eat and dine.

I went to Las Trancas recently while on business in area. I selected restaurant because it was close to my hotel. It was bad choice. I sat at bar because I went by myself. The time to even get waited on was ridiculous. Then the food is average. I would rather go to Taco Bell next time. Lastly, it took... More

Went here while visiting friends. Good food, good service, and the prices were very reasonable for the size of the portions. Run by a family and very hospitable.Try either the carne asada tacos or the green chicken enchiladas.

My friend and I met in the Charleston area for a quick weekend visit. We had my toddler with us and were very careful in choosing restaurants that would be appropriate to take her to. These guys were so accommodating of a toddler, I was beyond impressed. Not just our server, but every employee that passed by entertained and spoke... More

We sat at the bar so we could watch football. The bartender was very friendly & kept a watchful eye on our drinks. Our chip basket was kept full the whole time we were there, as was the delicious bowl of salsa. We weren't greatly impressed with our actual meals though. Both meals included chorizo, which we love, but it... More

We came here due to the reviews and I don't know where people learned about decent Mexican food but it isn't here! Both our adult meals were terrible. NO sides on the touted Vegetarian menu were VEGETARIAN. The rice has chicken stock in it and the beans have lard!! Who is claiming this to be vegetarian? The menu needs to... More

We stopped by to try a different place today. The food was good as was the service but I was most impressed with the large clean restaurant and the amazing location right beside Cabelas and Red Lobster.

Staff was very quick to get us seated, and the server came with the chips and salsa right away. The meals came out quickly. Some of the meats were a little dry, but the meal was overall very good.

This in my opinion is the best Mexican place to eat in Charleston. They offer a large variety of things and their prices are very reasonable and big. Their salsa is the best in my opinion. I know it's pretty standard for every Mexican place to serve salsa. I like their chile relleno' which some places don't serve the authentic... More
