This is a very small restaurant close to the capitol building. We parked int the capitol parking lot (metered) and toured the capitol and walked to Tricky Fish. The tacos were tasty, but could use more fish in the tacos - just one small piece...More

The clerk at the counter was very good about explaining things and making beer suggestions. My husband had the burrito with blacken mahi-mahi. He said it was the best burrito he ever had. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The pork was chunks, not really...More

We stopped here when driving through Charleston. The place itself is quaint and the staff we encountered were friendly. The service was a little slow, and the place could do with a good cleaning, but the food itself (shrimp tacos) was really good. I was not...More

Enjoyed our meal. Not a huge menu, but the food was very good. We tried two types of fish tacos, as well as a Po Boy. Everything was tasty!

Indoor or outdoor seating. Casual easy atmosphere. Food is better than good. I had the shrimp taco with red beans and rice and thoroughly enjoyed it. No desserts because there is a bakery down the street and others in the area have desserts, very disappointed...More

I ordered their “beach burger” which really is just a regular burger and it tasted okay. What really was not good was that they mixed up my order with someone else, then proceeded to, once they realized, switched our plates. The person had already eaten...More

Tricky Fish needs to up its game. The grilled mahi we ordered was much too dry. The slaw? Thick and too much vinegar. The beans and rice were decent. We probably won’t be back.

Hard to describe. We’ve been here before and had the fish tacos. Wasn’t impressed. This time I went for the Nathan’s dogs which is a safe bet and it was. Way more chili topping than needed for the small bun. Really good after I scraped...More

I saw good reviews for this restaurant and we decided to try it out. The fish tacos were excellent! The restaurant is very unique and sort of eclectic. The bathrooms could use some work but the food made this place a worthwhile stop!

We stopped there after our choice of restaurant was closed on Sunday. We were disappointed in that this was primarily a run of the mill greasy seafood place. I was able to get a grilled mahi-mahi which was a bit overcooked and a salad which...More
