We stopped in on a Thursday morning for a quick breakfast. We each ordered muffins and coffee. My wife decided she wanted something less sweet. She ordered an egg and bagel sandwich. They only had Swiss and American cheese so she ordered it without. The waitress came out a little later and told my wife that she had some cheddar... More

Skipper's is a great little ice cream shop! Different types of ice cream than just the normal flavors.

The menu has a big variety with lattes, hot dogs, pizzas, sandwiches, and ice cream. I tried the Italian sandwich as well as one of the flat bread pizzas, and both were surprisingly good. There was only one person working behind the counter who was also working the kitchen, but she was pretty fast on her feet and we got... More

We love to take the grandkids to Skipper's when they come for a visit, but we frequently go by ourselves too. The coconut joy ice cream is amazing!

If for nothing else, go for the ice cream but their food is also delicious as well. Very nice atmosphere in downtown Charles Town.

I have rediscovered Skippers! It is a great place to get a sandwich and a home made milkshake in any flavor you choose. I especially liked the West Virginia Hotdog and French fries.

neat place with great local creamery ice cream. It is near our home and we go a few times a month. There is a "paint your own pottery" attraction here and the kids use it 2 or 3 times a year. Sadly there isn't a lot of business as many local bypass this gem for Sweet Frog (barf) or Dairy... More

We love our local hometown ice cream parlor! Not a large franchise, mom and pop owned and serving local farm dairy ice cream! and the best sorbet!!

Very pleasant ice cream and sandwich shop in downtown Charles Town. The young folks that are employed here are a testament to the local owner and area. The flavors, especially chocolate insanity, are very good and creamy. The ice cream is sourced from a local dairy farm. I am a local person who usually schedules meetings at Skippers because of... This restaurant was really colorful and welcoming. The layout, the art area, and their decorating made it feel like a warm, local place that was family friendly. Unfortunately, I did not feel like the staff was very welcoming, though. We had been traveling through the area to visit a friend in Charles Town and stopped by to get ice cream... More
