9.18.21 Absolutely disheartening to read a COVID statement on the front page of Mia Margherita’s website and show up to see none of the staff or customers wearing masks. The outside patio was only partially full, and we were seated in a corner away from...the other tables. When our waitress approached, I asked if she was going to wear a mask and she ignored the question and asked for our drink orders. At that point I asked if she was vaccinated, and she replied that my asking was “a hipaa violation”, at which point we all three replied simultaneously “No, it’s not”. Not off to a good start, but then my wife asked her if she would feel comfortable putting on a mask while she was waiting on the table. She replied that she did not feel comfortable wearing a mask and would not put one on. At this point I left to get the car, with my wife and friend still seated at the table. The manager, unmasked, came over to the table, stood beside them until my wife asked her to keep her distance, and loudly said "you have your beliefs and we have ours," as a way of defending the decision for not masking the staff. The choice of the word “beliefs” made it sound as though they are — and I think they are — part of a science-denying cult. At this point in the pandemic, West Virginia has the highest incidence per capita of Covid-19 in the country. Hospitals are full to overflowing with Covid patients. This restaurant has a Covid policy on its website stating that it places the highest priority on the safety of its customers. What a dangerous and misleading claim. I recommend that anyone who cares about their own health at this time look for a different restaurant.More

We stopped here on our way home from PA to NC. We walked over from our Microtel to get dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to find a way above average Italian restaurant. I had bruschetta with tomatoes, shaved parmesan, a balsamic drizzle. My husband had...forcaccia with a unique kalemata olive dipping sauce. Both delicious. The servings were ample so luckily we have a cooler to bring home our leftovers. The wine list is good. I had my favorite Louis Martini Cabernet My husband wished they had better Chardonnays by the glass. Service by Terrance was great.More

My wife and I enjoyed a coal-fired pizza after a day of hiking in a local state park. We did a 'make your own' pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms. They have a nice draft beer listing. The pizza was awesome!

Like the food and service, but I can’t understand why some restaurants, such as this one, allow their employees to run around without wearing their Covid masks. The entire time we were there the bartender had his mask below his chin, one wait staff came...in to work with her mask below her chin and proceeded to stand by the cash register and chat, another kept going to the same register wearing no mask at all. One guy who seemed to have some authority and who would stand behind the pizza oven staff wore no mask. There seemed to be a feeling that if you came out of the kitchen you didn’t have to wear a mask. I lost track of the below the nose mask wearers. If a restaurant can’t abide by health department Covid rules I don’t plan to remain a patron.More

We were traveling and saw this restaurant listed on TripAdvisor, We ordered by phone . The take-out section is separate from the restaurant, like a small shop where you can also purchase beer, wine and desserts. Our baked lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs were absolutely...delicious! Authentic Italian! Our only regret is that we don't live in the area.More

Some things never change. Visited this restaurant several times. The food is generally very good. Salads and house dressing are excellent. Pizzas have been inconsistent but generally turn out good. As usual the service is average. There always seems to be an attitude that they...don't really care that you are there. Half of the experience of eating out is the atmosphere and experience. I tip well when I feel like I am appreciated. Usually don't end up tipping much here. It's a shame. I would frequent this restaurant a lot more if I just felt they appreciated me being there. Prices are on the higher side of moderate for this area. Give it a try.More

Excellent pizza and salad. We’ve been in town for 5 days and have ordered from here twice. Delicious food. Try the West Virginia Via San Francisco pizza!

Delicious food and many vegetarian options. There were several larger groups, due to a conference, and they accommodated us all well and quickly. I love coming here when in town for a conference.

Very tasty, customizable pizzas and appetizers When it comes to eating out, we're the odd couple. My husband is sensitive to onions and garlic, so we have a hard time finding safe pizza restaurants. But the staff here are very careful and courteous, they pay...excellent attention to details. I eat WFPB, and we were each able to enjoy our pizzas. They arrived just as we ordered them. Thank you, Mia Margherita! We really appreciate it.More
