Step back in time. Have yourself a burger with love apples, cheddar wax, rabbit food and white paint. Have a milkshake or old fashioned soda, make it a float. Then after that have a ice cream in a home made cone or a banana split....That food is great the atmosphere is great. Always on our list of places to stop when passing through. I forgot to mention, they welcome the trail riders with open arms. Stop in you won’t be disappointed.More

Loved the old school feel of the place! I will be returning and staying nearby at the Trailhead ATV resort!

New Years Eve, we stopped for lunch after viewing the homes of the coal mine barons. The nostalgia of walking back in time was amazing. We had the hamburger baskets and washed them down with some of the best ice cream sundaes this side of...the Mississippi. Attentive service by the staff was above our expectations. A true Gem to stop for some mouth watering food.More

We visited this establishment in August of 2020 and loved it. The people were very friendly and the burgers, fries, and ice cream were great. All four of us had the Mickey Rooney Burger and freshly cut fries and we were all very satisfied. My...wife had the Nutty Buddy ice cream, I had the Almond Joy milkshake, and our friends split a Banana Split. Again, we were all very happy with the selections. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They took photos with us, brought water out for our dogs, engaged us in conversation and were generally just wonderful! We hope to be able to visit again.More

The Corner Shop is an opportunity to step back to a better time in American History. An opportunity to go back and have simple culinary pleasures that are so good. The burgers are adventurous but complement the adventure into the 60s drug store experience. The...ice cream desserts are awesome. It is no wonder that the Corner Shop has won awards. My visit was fun, the waitresses were wonderful, and the food made for a great outing. Well worth the trip from Roanoke, Va.More

We've visited here numerous times. This is the neatest little ice cream shop and restaurant. The food has always been excellent. They have lots of specialty burgers and the best home made ice cream and treats!

The house made ice cream was awesome, Milkshake was even better. Oh yeah, the food was great as well, but i came for the dessert. It was great to see the old drugstore and what life used to be like. Must see when in area....Only complaint is the service was very, very slow.More

Always was a treat going there as a teenager and still is. Many memories made in that little town and a lot of good friends Exciting to remember those each time I'm able to revisit the Corner. Gotta love those fried green tomatoes too.😋

We were in the area (and by that I mean 100 miles away). We rode a round about route just so we could visit this place for a pepperoni roll, a burger and a milk shake. All three items are worth going out of your...way for. Seriously, if you are within 100 miles make it a point to stop by.More
