The Bar & Grill are on the top floor and you enter through the door on the right. You go up a flight of stairs and you are in a cozy space with tvs for viewing at the bar and dining area. We came in for a quick bite to eat and the food was satisfying. The manager/waitress/cook was by... More

This pub is one of the best in the Berkeley Springs area and my personal favorite. Conveniently located less than a block away from Berkeley Springs State Park and the Country Inn [at the intersection of North Washington Street (US Rt 522) & Congress Street], the Mountaineer is a great place to stop before catching a movie at the Star... I stopped in here for a bite to eat. It's a fun local bar. The bartender was attentive. I got the opportunity to get town tips from some local folks of things to see and do. Make sure when you're in Berkeley Springs, you stop by this gem.

Great place to relax, drink a beer, watch a spots game. Friendly owner. Great wings and quality selection of brews on tap and in bottles. Thanks for the hospitality

We have been to Berkeley Springs numerous times and this time we decided to try something a little different. The owner was there and shared the local history of Main Street. I can't express how much fun this place is. We stayed for the Monday night taco special and tried several different local beers. It was fantastic. Everything was fresh,... More

My family and I decided to have lunch at the Mountaineer yesterday during the Apple Butter Festival. On what is probably their busiest weekend of the entire year, you would think this place, like everywhere else in this town, would up-staff in anticipation of all the business they'd be getting. So why was there one server for 8 tables, including... More

Nicely decorated sports bar/restaurant. You can even write on a dollar bill & tape it up on the walls. Food was yummy. Waitress was very friendly.

I had walked by during the day and saw a sign for "Cards Against Humanity" game that night by coincidence some colleagues were discussing the game so we went down to see what it was all about..... Atmosphere was very friendly, had a really good burger, fries and cold beer. Bar is casual but bright and clean. Definitely will go... More

Friendly, casual place with great "game food" and a wide selection of adult beverages including some local beers and ciders. Went to watch a Redskins game and no one rushed us to order food or drinks. Really a great place to gather with friends or family.

Thank Angie H
