Our server was Tiffany, who made the entire meal experience very delighful due to her extra diligence making sure we always had what we wanted or needed. The food was excellent as ususal. The portions of food are adequate and a lot for the money. Tiffany demonstrated a very courteous service and my mom and I enjoyed being served by her.

We stopped in for lunch to start our Berkeley Springs getaway. The menu had a lot of options and we thought the food was tasty: boneless wings, steak, land and sea burger and chicken sandwich, and hand cut fries. We waited over an hour for our food and our server was not very attentive and couldn’t answer a few simple questions we had about the menu without asking someone else.

Average food at an average WV restaurant / bar. The only standout thing was the rattlesnake bites. Limited tap selections left me with the go to of all time: Yuengling!Wife had NYStrip and I had the “homemade” crab cakes with fried green beans. The steak was cooked as ordered along with garlic green beans and baked potato. My crab cakes were ok but it truly doubt they were homemade and were eerily similar to store bought frozen knock offs. My fried green beans were mass produced dipped in some cheap batter mix and fried in the deep fryer. Some things we talked about as we waited forever for our food was: very dated appearance that was dark and dreary, our waitress was very friendly and attentive offering no less than 4 apologies as we waited for our supper. As a kind gesture complimentary fried cheesecake for the delay. Thankfully it was free because I would hate to think I paid for it. Having lived in the area all our lives we would find it to be average. Here is some advice headed south eat in Winchester or north Hagerstown east Kings in Hedgesville west D’Atri’s in Cumberland. All are between 30-45 minutes and offer much better food, probably not better service…

This place is not visible from the main road and you have to travel up a dark windy road to get there. I think that it may have been connected to the motel on the same property, but doesn’t seem to be now. We arrived a little after 7 on a Friday and weren’t even sure it was open because there were only a few cars in the parking lot. This made us wonder about all the rave reviews. The hostess and server were friendly and service was efficient. The Friday special was prime rib. I ordered it med rare, but had to settle for medium. It was not the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t terrible. The best part of the meal was the generous serving of maple bacon Brussels sprouts. My husband had a steak salad. The steak was cooked to order and the salad was so large that he needed a take out box. It was served “Pittsburgh style” with the fries on top. The salad ingredients were very basic, but he thought it was quite passable. I can’t honestly say that we’d go there again, but Angus and Ale seems to serve good food to a local clientele who know how to find it.

Good service, delicious cornbread. Everything else was pretty lousy. My husband’s prime rib was acceptable, but the ribs my son and I ordered were awful, tasting as if they had been sitting on a steam table for hours in ridiculously thick bbq sauce. And the fries had clearly been reheated—they were hard as wood, inedible. Disappointed.

I had Salisbury Steak which was 2 patties of some processed meat, not ground beef with seasonings. Couldn't eat but half of one patty, the taste was nothing like I've ever tasted before. Terrible, my son tried and said stop eating that. Steamed broccoli was all stems, no crowns. Others had crab cakes and fish and breaded shrimp, no problems. Waitress said she was sorry and gave me 10% off a $140 bill for 4 adults and a child. Never will I eat in this dump again. DQ at the bottom of the hill has better food.

Kimmy was an awesome server and made us feel very welcome as first timers! Restaurant was clean and pleasant. Food and service were outstanding. Reasonably priced 2 entrees with sides, beverages and desserts $50. We will be back and highly recommend.

My daughter and I visited on our way through Berkeley Springs. The food was absolutely delicious, the server was courteous and attentive, and prices were fair. We had the grilled chicken salad with balsamic dressing (highly recommend this dressing), and the smothered burger, which was almost too thick to fit in your mouth. Great family restaurant!

This was quite a change of venues for us. We started out with fried alligator bites. And we really enjoyed them. The burgers were great cooked to perfection. We had the portobello fries and they were deep-fried but yummy. My husband had the Mason Dixon burger. It had a wedge of corn bread and deep fried bacon, with barbecue sauce. Our waitress was fabulous. Tables were spaced safely for Covid. Our waitress kept her mask on the entire time serving us. The music was country western. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We stopped in Berkley Springs after a long drive. Had burgers and fries from Angus & Ale next to our hotel. Prices were reasonable, food was delicious. Worth the money. The guy we picked up the food from had a mix-up with our order but it was straightened out with little fanfare.

This place has always been our favorite local restaurant and is currently under new management. Nice atmosphere, great, friendly service. Their, fall off the bone, ribs with special sauce are my favorite. Crab dip is a tasty appetizer. We visit A&A nearly every Sunday after church.

This place is great!! We were staying at Cacapon State Park and needed to find a place to watch a sports game that was on the tv in the afternoon. They were so welcoming and we enjoyed a variety of appetizers. We came back the next day to finish watching the series and they had the bar TV on the game as they knew we were coming back. The dinners we ate that night were wonderful. Can’t say enough about how much we appreciated and enjoyed this restaurant!

Amazing food at this little old time restaurant tucked away up off of 522. It took us a while to find it as it has a tiny sign on 522 where you turn but well worth it. Burgers and wings were amazing, wait staff was very kind, found my new favorite beer, and made some new feline friends that live outside the restaurant.

The food was good, but was disappointing to not be able to try any local WV beer. Great meet variety of different cuts of meet dishes. Why does this establishment not have any beer from Berkeley Springs Brewery?
