This was a recommendation from a customer. I have read some complaints about the prices but I honestly think it’s well worth. The burgers are enormous. Good sloppy burgers too. Shoe string fries are great. The counter staff seems very much about getting you in...and out so they weren’t very pleasant. But I get it. It was the lunch rush. Definitely worth stopping off at this place.More

January 17th 2021: This afternoon my boyfriend and I visited Miners Drive-In, we wanted to order a combo meal we were informed they no longer have combos so we ordered a cheeseburger deluxe had to pay $0.50 extra for the cheese and $0.50 extra for...a tomato slice (the burgers are the size of a dinner plate), we also ordered a small fry we were informed that a small fry will feed three to four people and a medium root beer the order was $16.62 which in my opinion is ridiculously overpriced the cheeseburger was amazingly good the french fries were way overcooked and hard and they were shoestring french fries which we do not like the root beer did not taste like root beer we were very very disappointed in the fries, the root beer we will not be going back if you want a good burger peppermint stick is a wonderful place to eat food is fantastic prices are affordable peppermint stick is so much better than Miners both places have been in business for about the same amount of time I do not give Miners a high rating only scale of a one to five service gets a 5 hamburger gets a five french fries they get a zero my root beer gets a one the root beer was not mixed properly. If you're planning a trip to Yakima I strongly suggest the peppermint stick driving you will not be disappointed.More

We were there tonight and ordered a bacon bleu burger, fries, and grilled chicken sandwich. We requested no onion/tomatoes and burger had them but no relish or mayo as requested. Very very little blue cheese crumbles. The guy taking out order said the chicken sandwich...had “tartar sauce and relish.” 😲 I think he was confused. Was not impressed with our food.More

Have been eating here for thirty years.....NO MORE!! Food has gone down hill and is now so inconsistent that I'm tired of feeling violated and robbed of my hard earned money, 30 bucks for 2 cold shrimp burgers and cold fries after a 45 minute...wait. In the past the food was always great and didn't mind the wait, you always got what you paid for, not now! If you can get one of the owners to take your order, your food is great, but then again we know them and that I would assume helps. Probably should have called it to their attention but was so pissed off I would have made an ass of myself. It just seems to me through my observations that most of the employees don't give a rip about how your food is or when you might receive it...... guys outside in the drive through just wander slowly in and out of the place taking orders and money at the pace of a zombie!! Sorry Miners I'm done, I gave you the benefit of the doubt the first time you started to have troubles about a year or so ago and came back. After numerous visits with poor experiences I'm DONE!!More

If your looking for nostalgia in your take out eateries, this is the place. The burgers @ Miners, harken back to when burgers were great, not the cardboard stuff that passes for fast food these days. A variety of burgers, all of them BIG, that...you can select the cheese you want on it, ie: American, Pepper Jack & Bleu (our favorite). We get a burger each, and 1 basket of fries to share. One order of fries can easily feed 4-6 people, and they are great! They also have salads, all of which we have tried and loved. There are other sandwiches too, Grilled cheese for our littlest ones, Veggie for the Vegan in our family and BBQ for Gramps. Miners is a Yakima institution, and we know why.More

Was in the area and checked it out, I only got a burger and a Chocolate shake but the burger is the largest that I've ever gotten. The burger was was good but I wouldn't say it was great but the Chocolate Shake was really...good. For the burger and shake it was like $13 but I would go back if in the area.More

Juicy and packed with goodness. Great tasting beef. And yes, Big! The small fry is giant too. Enjoy the good stuff when in Yakima or just driving through like we were!. Menu has lots to offer. Everyone in your group will find something yummy!

Most definitely a must go to place. Boyfriend had been here before, said this place was really good. However he didn't say I would be eating the biggest burger of my life. Excellent Bacon Burger! The fries were equally impressive. The banana cream pie shake...was to die for. Will gladly spend the money again!!!!More

I use to go here when I was in high school and remember how big the hamburgers were. They haven't changed and are still as I remember. Make sure you are really hungry...
