Ordered online for pickup, online ordering was easy. Picked up my order and the lady was nice, there were two people at a table eating. The restaurant appeared to be clean and everyone not eating was wearing a mask. Everything we ordered was so tasty!...The coconut rice was our favorite, the yakisoba noodles came in second. Can't wait to go back and try something different!More
I can't believe I've never tried this restaurant before, it is so good! The menu had so many types of food that all sounded good. We ordered online and picked up at the store. I got the Veggie Heaven with coconut rice and it was...delicious, the coconut rice was the best! We got the egg rolls which were super tasty that came with a sauce that was great too. We got yakisoba noodles that were different than any I have ever tasted but really yummy!! My daughter enjoyed the kids burger with fries she got, it was bigger than I expected. My son got the kids bacon cheese fries which he liked, but the portion was tiny. We will definitely go back and I highly recommend!More
Traveling through town and got a local’s tip. Great food quality.. Good flavors that aren’t run-of-the-mill. Definitely not a chain. Super Friendly service too.
I like how this place puts their unique touch on every dish they serve. If you are a fan of good that has that little bit of spice and zing, then the menu here will not diasppoint. Their coconut shrimp and cocunut rice (which is...what put them on the map) is amazing. The staff is very freindly and the owner truely cares about his customers! Service with a smile and great food will keep me coming back.More
Because Mangoz Grill is West Yakima Avenue and not downtown, mobs of the haut monde have yet to ruin our fresh discovery. But I would hurry! This is a secret that will spill out and they'll all come running. Mangoz Grill is delightfully intimate for...good eating, modestly priced, perfect for lunch or dinner, and staffed for caring, efficient service. The menu entices with teasing complexity. I chose ribs and shrimp tempura over three bases (two of rice, one of pasta). The ribs were succulent, the shrimp colossal. My wife chose Thai peanut skewers over pasta. Marvelous! We lingered. Light snow was falling; the "Stairway to Heaven" soundtrack intimated romance.More
Convenient location to downtown as well as the west side. Simple decor, friendly service and excellent food. We had the coconut chicken and Veggie Rice with shrimp. Both excellent. Tried the Veggie rice with all three rice/noodle options...liked the coconut rice best - but all...were good.More
We visited this place for the first time today. I had the jalapeño infused bacon burger. So so good and filling. The lady had a wonder vegetarian disk. I tasted several meals. All were really good. We will be back.
I ate here today and wished I could eat here everyday for a few weeks just to try everything on this eclectic menu. I played it safe on this my first visit and had OG teriyaki thighs. My friend had the veggie bowl with shrimp...that I will try on my next visit. The array of fresh veggies looked healthy and very attractive on the plate. It apparantly tasted even betterMore
Our group has used Mangoz Grill for multiple events and always get rave reviews. Chef Ron puts together some creative choices for appetizers and shared foods that always fit our needs. As a nonprofit organization, we can't thank them enough for working with us and...supporting the local community with delicious food from a local, family owned business all at a reasonable price!More
If you like Asian Food you need to try Mangoz Grill, Chef Ron Moor refers to his ceations as Asian Infused and to me some of the best prepared and presented Asian food that I have eaten.
Went here with my wife, just to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised with the offerings, and although the portions were not huge, they were extremely tasty and well presented. The servers were very friendly, as well as the owner. The only reason for...four stars instead of five is that the seating is somewhat limited with a full view of the parking lot through the windows, which can be somewhat distracting during dinner. We will definitely visit again, and have added Mangoz Grill to our short list of favorites in YakimaMore
I see both good and bad about this place. I was there for lunch. The service was very friendly and very good. The food came out fast and hot. The menu is limited in size but has some interesting items. They still serve to original...teriyaki that the previous place served plus some other items that sound really good. Their menu is split between Asian and Mexican food. They do not have a lunch menu so expect to pay full dinner prices for your food. The prices run from $12 to $17 with and additional $3 for soda so expect to pay $18 or higher with a tip for the meal. I got the tamales and a drink. My meal with the tip was about $23. Pretty pricey for lunch. I did get enough food that I took half of it home. The tamales were large and very good. They came with melted cheese and a creme sauce on top. Next time I will order double the sauce as the tamales tasted good but were dry. They came on a bed of Mexican rice and beans. The portion size was decent but the rice and beans were fairly bland. The lady next to me had teriyaki chicken with some tempura veggies and rice. They looked really good and I will go back again and try them. Next time I go it will be for dinner as I can't afford $20 lunches very often. This is a different and fun place to try, but it appears to be slightly overpriced for the quality and quantity of what you get. If the prices were a little lower or they had a decent lunch menu I would have rated them five starsMore
