Have traveled many times for lunch and never open although the sign on building says they are. I would write more but it’s not worth it. Food has been good in the past but our last experience was expensive and small portions. $38.00 for two...dishes and left hungry.More
I really love the food here as does my son and husband. It’s so good, the place should be full all the time! The service is fast and friendly. If you love Indian food give them a try; you won’t be disappointed!
The amount of butter chicken was much less than when we ordered take out last year. It was packaged in a salad size bowl with lid (see picture with salad fork for size reference). Previously, it was in a quart size cup. So, about 1/2...to 2/3 the amount. Also, I ordered a 3 for heat level and it had no heat. Finally, i think the recipe has changed because it was not a rich and creamy buttery taste like before, but more like a bland tomato sauce. This used to be my favorite resteraunt and my favorite dish, but no more. I called them and their only suggestion was to add some hot sauce to it.More
We enjoyed two orders of vegetable samosas (perhaps the only "pricy" item we ordered at $4.45 or two) The spinach nan was the best we've ever had. My saffron gosht lamb was excelent. My wife' Seekh kabob salad was adorned with excellent slices of ground...meat "kabobs."More
Delicious food, very filling. Good service. Lots of menu choices. The fried paneer was so good as was the curry, mango lassi and the naan. Will come again!
We recently got take-out from Taj Palace. We have been fans of Indian food for a long time but hadn’t tried this restaurant since we moved to Yakima. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani and garlic naan. Everything was very good, my only complaint...was that the naan seemed a bit dry but overall we were very pleased and will eat here again.More

I really enjoy the cuisine here. It's fun to try the many different dishes with savory spices that their buffet offers. We love it!
I dont know why I haven't been here in years. The food and service is really good. The aroma as you walk in the door is captivating and starts your taste buds craving this food. I like to do the lunch buffet because it changes...daily around a few staples like the butter and tandori chicken dishes. The buffet has at least 20 choices of main dish, salads, sauces and breads. You cannot leave without saving room for my favorite of mixed fruits topped with a little rice pudding.More

I visited Yakima 5 years ago and ate at Taj Palace. It was so Awesome, that when I went home to SoCal, I looked for its equal... no luck. I had the opportunity to come back to the area, with my husband, and we had...the pleasure of eating at this most delicious restaurant. If you are in the area, it is so worth trying. The Tikka Masala was cooked to perfection, and the Spinach Naan is so tasty. Don’t forget to start out with Paneer! The staff at the restaurant are very hospitable, and everything is neat and clean. No flaws! We will miss you!!More

We don't know a lot about Indian food, so the buffet is perfect. The restaurant is clean, staff are friendly and I love having unlimited Naan! The butter chicken is well worth 2nds, plus lots of other good stuff.
