From the time we arrived to the day after when we retrieved left glasses the Herbfarm performed superbly. One of our party had diet restrictions that were tactfully addressed as we sat down at our table and the substitution described in detail. We were there for the 100 Mile dinner of nine courses featuring only locally sourced ingredients, from the... More

It was 4 hours of amazing good but it was 4 hours. I guess I night be alone in this but no food is worth 4 hours, and honestly, even though the portions were rightfully small, it was just too much.

Traveling recently to Seattle, I was looking for a special dining experience for a big birthday and came across the Herbfarm. As it happened, the night I dined there is the night of their annual "100 mile" dinner where absolutely everything on the menu, including wine pairings, is sourced from within 100 miles of the restaurant. Everything about the dinner... More

We visited the restaurant in a business trip with my colleagues, and I have to say that the 350$ was about 300$ too much for the food. Awful quality/price and definitely not a restaurant worth of visiting!

The food was a wide variety with a farm-to-table theme. From the herb garden tour to the dessert, the owners took care to create an experience in fine dining. If you are looking for an intimate, romantic dinner, this is not the place. Most tables are shared with multiple parties, but you can reserve a private table and still enjoy... More

Impeccable and gracious service, innovative and delectable menu, delicious wine (and beer too!) pairings...a truly memorable experience. There is absolutely nothing like it - a one-of-a-kind Pacific Northwest treasure, and I was wowed from the first moment I walked in the door. Absolutely Highly Recommend!

I was encouraged whilst queuing at immigration by the locals lauding Herbfarm, which we were booked into that evening. We were tight on time and tired because of a 7hr flight delay! Anyway after dumping bags in hotel downtown, we hot the 45 min cab ride arriving about 20mins later than our booked time of 7pm. Hadnt realised it was... More

Hello Mr Martin, Thank you for your honest review. And thank you for considering that the jet lag may have been an issue. I truly hope that we can serve you again when you can experience the entire evening with a fresh perspective. We look forward to a second chance to create a good impression.Carrie More

Had a fun, delicious, and splendid dining experience at the Herb Farm. It was pouring down rain the night of our dinner, so we didn't get to tour the herb garden, but we still were able to learn and taste herbs and flowers prior to being seated. We also enjoyed the explanations of the wine pairing by the Somm and... More

The Herbfarm is one of a kind. A vast herb garden provides inspiration for its set nine course meal. The master chef and sommelier develop an exquisite tasting experience which delights all senses. Every three weeks a new menu is developed and presented using fresh, local, ingredients. But first, enjoy a tasting tour through the herb garden, where the owner... More

Money can not be an object when making a reservation at the Herbfarm. Come here for a complete dining experience which treats all the senses and lasts for 4 or 5 hours. Menus are according to themes so be prepared for treats, surprises and unusual flavors. But it all works and the meal is memorable. There is a tour of... More

Description
The Herbfarm is America's only 5-Diamond Restaurant north of Napa Valley and east of Chicago. With working farm and restaurant 20 minutes from Seattle, the restaurant offers 26 different 9 course dinner menus each year.Creed: The Herbfarm believes that no dish can be better than its ingredients, and that the best ingredients are usually local. Freshness is ephemeral, and geography expresses itself in the taste of the food--sometimes subtly and sometimes profoundly. The foods and wines of our region share a similar motherhood of soil and weather, making for a happier culinary marriage than those from dissimilar climates. The Herbfarm believes that chefs who cook with local ingredients--season by season, year after year--develop a more complete understanding of the foods than chefs who do not. This understanding can give rise to greater expressions of the food, its preparation, and enjoyment. The Herbfarm believes that supporting local farmers, foragers, cheesemakers, wineries, ranches, and fishermen helps preserve local foods.
