This was my second visit to the Barking Frog; this time for lunch during Restaurant Week. Beautiful restaurant, great service. My lunch included 4 small, but delicious, prawns and 2 smaller scallops (over salted). Each dish was accompanied but a little garnish. If I hadn't added their fabulous pecan tart to my lunch I would have come home hungry. I'll... More

One of the best restaurants in the Pacific Northwest and one we dine at on special occasions. Service was excellent as usual and a great cellar for all budgets. Make reservations to prevent disappointment.

We went on the Seattle Restaurant Week program. Between us, we had a couple of good dishes (beet salad, squash soup, and a chicken dish), overcooked salmon, and desserts that were "ok". Out of curiously I tried the wine pairings. The Chablis for the appetizer was reasonably good, but a touch acid, but the perhaps too-well aged Rioja with the... More

I have been to the Barking Frog numerous times, generally for lunch. Service is always outstanding; waitstaff will accommodate guests in any way possible. The quality of food here cannot be overstated It simply is outstanding, both in presentation and in preparation. I rarely give 5 stars but this one deserves it.

I enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu at Barking Frog ($32 for three courses) and was impressed by the service and attention to detail. Nice decor and ambiance with the fire pit in the center of the room and visible wine cellar. Innovative dishes on the menu kept things interesting. A very nice experience all around!

We stopped for lunch and found out it was restaurant week in Seattle. There was a three course prix-fixe menu with wine pairings. We had shrimp, salads, soup, scallops, and a dessert of ice cream with berries at the communal table. It was so absolutely wonderful that we asked if there was a different menu for dinner and if there... More

We ate dinner and breakfast here. The service and food were very good both times. The restaurant itself was small but very nice. This restaurant is located on the property of the Willows Lodge and it supplies in-room service to the lodge. Reservations are needed at times but seats in the bar and available on a first come, first served... More

Once again, a great lunch on the patio near the fountain. Tried an Avennia wine and it was superb. Lovely spot right by the water and aperfect fresh salad. Its the perfect wine country spot and you could make it perfect by staying next door overnight at the Willow Lodge.

I expected it to be good. But it's been a long time since I've put something in my mouth and it made me stop my conversation because it was so unbelievably great. the grand Mariner Prawns are out of this world! Highly recommend them. The staff - ALL AROUND starting with the bar to the servers! were attentive and wonderful.... More

All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews.
