Across from Chateau St. Michelle, we had a fabulous meal at Barking Frog. If I have only two words to describe our meal they would be: foie gras. Every bite was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent. We had a great waiter as well. We ate outside and the weather cooperated. The sommelier helped us choose our wine and was... More

Reservation at Barking Frog was made prior to arrival at Willows Lodge. Claire, a wonderful server at Willows Lodge, got us on the right foot at Barking Frog with server nicknamed Fish. Fish was excellent as was the food. Prawns not on menu, but a must. We had a great time.

The food was good, a bit overpriced for what it was, the atmosphere was typical NW wood and slate. A bit boring for me.

The service was excellent. The bread they put on the table was refilled before it sat empty. The waitress suggested a wine for my lunch that was awesome. However, the price of the food was on the expensive side. I had room for dessert and I never have room for dessert. Other people at the table felt the same way.

Had a very nice last day of a trip dinner here. The waiter, a long-time veteran of the restaurant, had excellent suggestions on both dishes and wine pairings. This was a most enjoyable meal!

Tasting menu delighted four of us. We thought it was better deal than The Herb Farm because we all made different choices and shared tastes. Superb foi gras, salmon, lamb, wines.....came to less than half than the Herb Farm and just as much good food. Must return soon......

We had breakfast here several mornings as we were staying at the hotel. The food was cooked to our requests and service was excellent. The pancakes were very good. We also dined here in the evening with a large group. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable and helped with specific requests.

We enjoyed the tasting menu: Col Solare Red Blend 2009, a collaboration between Tuscany's Marchesi Antinori and Washington State's Chateau Ste. Michelle. Heirloom tomatoes with house made burrata, watermelon, basil and aged balsamic. Hudson Valley Foie Gras, aged balsamic, grapes and baguette. Beef tenderloin, asparagus, mushroom cream, egg yolk ravioli. Dark chocolate yuzu "fudge", galangal caramel sauce, Ceylon cinnamon snow,... More

It's difficult to say what is most appealing about the Barking Frog - the food, the wine, the atmosphere. All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews. Honors have included "Restaurant of the Year", "Most Innovative Wine List" and "Wine Grand Award" awards, presented by the Washington Wine Commission. Delectable dishes entice guests to linger in the light-filled dining room or to gather around the fireplace. While in the summer, lunch and dinner are served in the courtyard. Wine tasting in Fireside Cellars - Many wineries are open for public tastings, others are not. However, there is one place where you can relax with friends and fellow guests to taste the finest that Woodinville Wine Country has to offer - Fireside Cellars at Willows Lodge. Join us from 4PM-11PM Sunday-Thursday and 4PM-12AM Friday and Saturday. On weekends, the sweet smell of crepes fills the air as the Fireside Cellars is now open and offers both sweet and savory crepes along with oatmeal, pastries and your favorite coffee/espresso. Open Saturdays and Sundays from 8AM-1PM.
