Because of the co-vid 19 pandemic and required outdoor seating mandated by our state, this pub had put in place wonderful heated "bubbles" that seated 6. It was cozy and the food was great. My Rueben was delicious and my fovorite local wine was perfect....We had made reservations (recommended ) and got seated in our cute bubble right away. The service was very attentive and friendly. My husband had the lamb pita which was excellent and my friends had the special-barbeque pork which they said they really enjoyed. I would recommend this place. It's also a very fun place in the Summer with live music on weekends.More

With COVID on the rise, interior seating is not allowed, so we ordered take out. I got the Rueben Sandwich and some tater tots, my wife got The Old Schoolhouse Burger and regular fries. The meal was put together quickly and was still hot when...we got back to our cabin. When I opened my box there was the Rueben and a TON of tater tots....I mean, enough for an army (I ate them all !!!!) Everything was delicious. Ordering was easy on line, friendly welcome when we picked everything up. Although we didn't order beer, there was a very nice selection....next time.More

This place is a tourist trap serving trashy bar food and overpriced beer with amazingly bad service to match. Great place to go if you want to be forced to wait for an hr+, speak to snippy and rude bartenders and be ripped off by...a Microsoft employee and his condescending brother ruling from afar. 5* rip off factor if you see their beer prices in the local iga.More

We arrived and got ourself on the waiting list. While waiting we had beers and sat on the upper deck. They have heaters that are nice. We enjoyed the ambiance and after about 30 minutes we were seated. This was in the evening so there...were a little chill as it is outside. The staff is young and very hardworking and attentive. The place was full with seating reflecting the covid protocol. I had the fish and chips that was the best I ever had. I do recommend it. My wife had the bbq burger. It was very good as well. Recommended. I also had the impossible chili cup that was very good. We had hot cider to drink in addition to the beer. I saw good covid cleaning during table bussing and the bus boy was working very hard. Jaki was our waitress/server and was very attentive. Recommend the place and we will be back.More

This is a very popular place because the food is excellent; we had the lamb sandwich selection. There was a large selection of beers on tap. The patio overlooking the river was a perfect place to eat your scrumptious meal. You may have trouble getting...in because it's so busy.More

We visit Winthrop 6-8 times a year and always make a stop at the Old Schoolhouse Brewery. We have enjoyed the cheeseburgers and beer. Last night we drove an hour from our camping spot and arrived at OSB by 6:45. We waited at the door...and told the hostess we would like a table for three. She had just seated a couple before us. The young, blonde hostess told us the restaurant was closed. We stood there in shock and said, "Uh, what?" She told us that the kitchen closes at 8 pm and there wouldn't be time to serve us. She said the kitchen closes at 8 p.m. I pointed out to her that it wasn't 8 p.m. yet. She simply responded blankly that they were closed to seating customers. We asked when that happened and she sarcastically said "Now." That's a pretty insulting answer and I said, "What do you mean you're closed now?" Did you just close for us? What time do you stop seating people?" She said she didn't understand the question. I said, "Let's say we want to come back tomorrow. What time do you stop taking people to be seated?" She said, "7 p.m." I pointed out that it currently was 6:50 p.m. and she said they just had too many people still waiting to be seated. There was no one waiting. We weren't dressed like serial killers or circus clowns or Trump supporters so I have no idea why this, uh, "person" refused us service. We have enjoyed OSB many, many times, but we won't be back after this.More

We enjoyed two dinners at the Old Schoolhouse Brewery during our stay in Winthrop. The food was delicious and the beer wonderful. We dined on their outdoor patio and enjoyed the river running next to it. Great beer, food and location - highly recommend.

Very good food and provided the opportunity to sit in the backpack right next to the water. I would have appreciated cleaner bathrooms but the food was outstanding!!!

You wouldn't know it by the tiny store front, but this restaurant has a sizable outdoor seating area, all in the shade. Typical Winthrop laid-back atmosphere combined with great food and awesome service. I will definitely eat here again the next time I visit.

Sorry not sure, I was there for the Balloon Fest and it was snowing so the patio was not open.
