I ate here over 20 years ago and the place hasn’t changed a bit. The food and service are still very good but the restaurant is in bad need of an upgrade. We were seated upstairs, whisch was OK but handicapped would have a hard time here.

We came here for lunch. I had the Chicken Fettucini Alfrefo. It was the best that I have had. The noodles were cooked perfect, the sauce was incredible. They actually had enough sauce to cover it all.
I would definately recommend.

We've enjoyed dinners as a couple and with friends and have always received good service, generous entre portions that have been flavorful and at reasonable prices. Yes I've been to finer Italian restraunts traveling throughout the country but haven't been disappointed ever at Pellegrino's.

I came here for the gluten-free options. We arrived just before 5pm and it wasn't busy at all. The gluten free bread was ok. I ordered chicken marsala and it was not the worst I've had, but not the best either. My daughter had 3 different types of spaghettis and thought her meal was average too. The service was excellent. I probably won't come back though. We can cook better food at home. If you need gluten-free options, then I would recommend going here.

Great food and service. Their eggplant parmesan is to die for, and their house bread is delicious. Husband got the muffuletta sandwich and loved it. Definitely will return.

The Pellegrino family has been in the restaurant business for years in the Olympia/Tumwater area. Having never been to this restaurant, we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed! The calamari appetizer was melt-in-your-mouth, perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the Shrimp Scampi and I had the Chicken Piccata. Both dishes were prepared and served perfectly. Serving was timed so we had time to enjoy the appetizer before the main course was served. The portions were generous. Save room...the desserts are delicious, too! Our servers was very courteous and there was no rushing people through their meals. My recommendation...if you like Italian you need to check them out.

My friend and I stopped here for dinner by accident when we were looking for a place to eat on the way to Olympia from SeaTac. The parking lot is always full so that's a pretty good indicator of a good restaurant. What a please surprise! The main dining area is upstairs and the place can seat more than it appears from the outside. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our server didn't interrupt our meal except to ask if we needed a refill and make sure our food met expectations, which I appreciate.
The food was delicious. I had the fresh local claim linguine and my friend had the daily special. Both were served hot and were very tasty. The food was fresh. The sauce was light with enough butter to add flavor but not make you feel like your arteries were clogging on the spot. I'm not sure what the wine was that was used for the sauce but it certainly added a nice flavor. I had my first buttered rum as my adult beverage. That was excellent also. They make their own mix for the base. I had the impression that all of their ingredients were fresh.
Overall an enjoyable experience. Wish this place was where I lived so I could go regularly.

Made reservations on a busy Saturday night and had a great table downstairs...very busy but not loud so the four of us could have a nice conversation...everyone ordered something else and every meal was outstanding...my favorite was the superb meatballs and spaghetti which was outstanding...each of the portions were enough for 2-3 people so lots of leftovers to take home....service was excellent and the price very reasonable...all in all a great dining experience which, if you like Italian food a not to miss establishment

Dinner was perfect! Food, service and ambiance all fab. I had the gnocchi with balsamic reduction, and every bite was superb. My husband had the fettuccine carbonara: the serving was huge, enough for a family of four, lots of leftovers, and he loved it too. I'd highly recommend this for any meal.

We took our friends visiting from Boise for dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. It had been a couple of years since I had eaten here but the lasagna was as good as I remembered. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. It felt really tight when we were first seated because we were just inches away from the next table, but the party there finished and left before we got our food—nice people but happy they left so we had some elbow room and made it easier to visit.

If you are hungry for Italian food and plenty of it you won’t be disappointed in this gem. We ate there in June for a family birthday dinner. The atmosphere was friendly, service top rate and food delicious. At this dinner there were 10 adults and we each ordered different entrees. Each one was just splendid and large servings. From salads and anti pasta to main dishes and desert you can be sure to have a great meal anytime. As an Italian family I think that is saying something!
