We stopped in here after a snowshoe trip in the area after hearing about it in a local write up. I’d passed through Trout Lake before coming or going to Mt. Adams but had totally missed the sign to this place set back off the road a slight distance. The staff was very welcoming and made sure the fire was... More

But worth the trip, great food and decent service. it's a pretty damn cool little restaurant. The place was packed for a Thursday night in mid January. Our meeting room was a little chilly when we arrived, but it warmed up and we had a great time. I had the pasta/sausage special, good portion size and tasty. Check it out.... More

Another couple joined us for dinner and drinks at this historic country inn. My fellow diners enjoyed glasses of wine and I had a bottled beer (because the draft offerings were limited and included no dark beers, such as porters or stouts). For dinner, one person ordered a chef's special with grilled shrimp, another ordered a tuna melt, and the... More

We held a nonrehearsal dinner here prior to our son's wedding. Getting the dinner organized was difficult as sometimes emails and phone calls weren't returned and when we thought details were finalized, well, they weren't. HOWEVER, the final product was amazing, beautifully arranged tables, gorgeous setting, fantastic food locally sourced and great service! As the mother of the groom, I... More

This old house in Trout Lake is now a cozy, eclectic restaurant with amazing food. Outside seating was delightful during the summer evening I was there. I had the lamb meatballs with yogurt sauce, beans, and tanduri naan. The food was out of this world. The only down fall was that they were very busy and the service was slow.... More

Don't plan on hurrying when you eat here. The food is well worth the wait and there are plenty of table games and other distractions to take any edge off the wait. Each dish is prepared especially for you and it's possible that they will run out of their daily specials (or desserts) because they are so good. Not the... More

7 of us descended upon the inn around 1:00pm. Mary was super nice, let us pic a picnic table out front, brought us a tablecloth, and kindly and happily served us. They had some really good locally sourced, organic food items that were wonderfully prepared. Granted we were hungry :), but we got very quite and just kept making yummy... More

This is a relaxed historic, old-time inn full of friendly locals. The home-style food is mainly burgers, sandwiches and salads with a flair, augmented with a specials board. The kitchen uses locally sourced ingredients when possible. Good bar and a kids menu round things out.

this place is in a funky old wood structure, kinda rustic, very frontier feeling, close to Trout Lake. There's a small restaurant/cafe in the front, and a dance hall in the back. Trout Lake is off the beaten path, but this place serves good sandwiches and has good beer. We had a philly cheesesteak, a BLT with Avo, and a... More
