This restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. I ate breakfast. The portions are large and the chili omelette I had was quite tasty. The chili was homemade. The hash browns were real and not the rubbery packaged hash browns you get at some restaurants. My son had the biscuits and gravy and he was quite pleased as well. Service was good.... More

I had fish and chips here, they were ok, a little greasy. But I liked the atmosphere and the waitress was friendly and efficient. Will stop again as I go through Tenino freq. Will try brkfst next time, as this seems to be a popular place in the morning.

This is my sons favorite place to have breakfast, so I decided to try it last week with a friend. I had a basic breakfast of bacon & eggs, all cooked perfectly. My friend had an omelet & I plan to try that next time. Servers are super friendly.

Went to Sandstone for lunch during our teacher days. Had a large group of educators. Ordered the French Dip (it was wonderful). The meal did take almost 45 minutes to arrive (which made us eat quick) but the service was friendly and very helpful. One in our party asked for extra pickles on the side and scored the upgrade.

Great local breakfast. Service was a bit slow and while they do have some gluten free options they were out of gluten free bread when we were there. They made a nice substitute though.

This is one of those simple, down-home restaurants that are found only in small towns. Sandstone figures prominently in Tenino's history and the place has an appropriate western flare. Portraits and memorabilia of the West, native Americans, and John Wayne decorate the inside. Friendly servers constantly keep the coffee cup filled. The menu features waffles and eggs and meat; this... More

This is a friendly little place with a down home menu and super service. My hash browns were burned and the onion rings were literally dripping grease, but I sampled my wife's burger and was blown away. These people know their way around a hamburger. Although I wasn't dazzled with my combo meal consisting of sausage and gravy, eggs and charred... More
