This is a quaint restaurant that serves great salads, sandwiches and dinners. I like the caprese sandwich and the big tuna melt. Entrees I like are the chicken pot pie and the mac and cheese if you are feeling decadent. It is small but in the summer you can dine on the sidewalk.

At the last minute decided to meet family in Tacoma for lunch. This restaurant came up with good reviews so decided to try it out. It won't be our last time here either. Food is great with friendly service. This is a small place and can got very crowded around 1 so come earlier if you don't want to wait.

At the corner of Warner and North 26th, the Rosewood Cafe is a hidden gem in a mostly residential area. I've been a lunch patron for years and since the new owners took over the menu has thankfully remained consistently good and fresh, and the "new" items are equally delicious. The Rosewood specializes in salads and sandwiches, and offers a... More

This is a little neighborhood restaurant on 26th just outside the Proctor District. My only complaint would be that the menu is a little limited but, the food is good, the service is good - pot pie and a glass of wine!

Went there with a friend for the first time a few days ago. The place was very busy on a weekday lunch hour. The menu was typical American comfort food. We ordered two hot sandwiches, tuna melt and Reuben. Both were pretty good and reasonably priced. The beet salad we ordered was great. It was a nice relaxed lunch experience.

We love this low key restaurant for lunch and dinner. Planning is key as you will have to wait during peak hours. The food is not fancy but it is fresh, delicious and the rotating desserts are always amazing! We live in the neighborhood and walk by just to see what the dessert of the evening happens to be. Food is always excellent. During peak hours the wait can be longer. We plan our trip around the busy times.

The food has always been top notch. Typically we go there for lunch since it's one of my wife's favorite places. The fair, the wine list and the beer is extensive but always good.

Tucked away in the old Tacoma neighborhood, I always forget about Rosewood. Great food, great service. Dining inside is fine, but outside in the summer is a real treat. Such a great little place for dining with a friend, family member or business associate. Their sandwich options are spectacular.

Busy little place! If you come during lunch, be prepared to wait for a table! There is a nice selection of small plates and sandwiches, all tasty. I decided to splurge and get the pecan salmon. It was excellent. Cooked nicely, nice sides. Too big for a lunch portion, but who cares! I personally find the general menu to be... More
