Last year I took my friend out for dinner at Marsano's as a birthday treat. When her birthday came around this year, she wanted to go again. First, I love the decor - it reminds me of the lovely restaurants O visited in Italy. The food is delicious, cooked to perfection using fresh ingredients. Then there is the staff. They... More
Marzano's Italian Restaurant is located a few miles south of Tacoma WA in next to PLU in Parkland. It is a neighborhood gem that provides authenitic artisan Italian cusine in an atmosphere that is intimate and welcoming. Service was excellent and everything (salad, bread, entree and drinks) were all notable for their freshness, quality and presentation. If one is looking... More
Marzanos is an Italian restraunt in Parkland, by PLU. We go there fairly often, for ourselves and to treat friends. I have never gotten a bad meal there. The food is amazing, and the service is outstanding! I highly recommend it! Reservations are a must, its very popular.
Love love this place. Sat outside (reservations a must) had bruschetta to start - yummy fresh best in town, followed with clams and then moved on to the spagatti and meatballs to die for. Nice wine list could be better - peach Bellini to start followed up with a Corliss second label... Staff friendly and knowledgeable. 5 star for sure
Dropped in for dinner. The service was quick and good, the wait staff very attentive. The food was just so-so. Spaghetti with little meat and with bland flavor, kinda like out of a can. Same with wife's chicken alfredo, just no spice to it. The prices are good, but better food would make it worth going back.
I've never been to Italy, but this is the best Italian food I've ever had. The pasta dishes are served with full bodied sauces. The salads and starters are a must have. It's always busy so best to have a reservation.
This restaurant serves very tasty dishes. It is pricey and reservations are required, but for a special night out it is grand. The food is top of the group in Italian food.
Marzanos has been a respected restaurant since at least 1990 when we moved to Tacoma. It's in a pleasant craftsman style house, decorated to honor the kitchen's northern Italian roots. We have had many fine meals there and have always come away fully satisfied. My own favorite happens to be pasta boscaiola and their tiramisu.
