We are never disappointed when we go to Fujiya for sushi. We usually sit at the sushi bar and watch the goodies "roll out." Started with cucumber salads Ebi-Su and Kani-Su (shrimp and crab respectively) on delicately sliced marinated cucumbers with beautiful garnishes. Candy for the eyes and palate. Check out the pictures. We had decided on spider maki, vegetable maki... More

Atmosphere was casual and inviting. The entrance is not at street level. When you walk in the door the first thing you smell is seasoned rice. The dinner salad was a little weird, but the sushi was so tasty, with generous portions too. This was the sushi experience I was hoping for while visiting the northwest coast.

The best place for amazing sushi and Japanese cuisine. This restaurant has been here since 1984. Amazing owner and staff. Juan San is great sushi chef. Must try!

As a sushi novice I wanted to experience several tastes. So our party of two ordered the Makasushi plate and requested diversity among the chef choice rolls. To our surprise we were provided four premium rolls across the two plates and a regular and white tuna roll. Very good service and special treats accompanied our meals. Perfect way to try... More

Loved the sushi but loved the breaded oysters even more. The wait staff were awesome and very accommodating. They brought us additional food just because. We were treated very well. Brought a free round of saki which was enjoyed by our drinkers. Oh, did I say they oysters were great?

Went on New Years Eve before First Night...no reservations but glad we sat at the sushi bar. Chef Juan was dishing out samples (spicy tuna, mushroom salad). We split California roll, gyoza, seaweed salad and had plenty of food at reasonable prices. Jenna, our server was very attentive. This restaurant has been here for 30+ years so they must be... More

We like sitting at the sushi bar to watch the action. It's amazing how the chefs manage to work so efficiently in a small space. Been here many times. On last visit, my chicken katsu meal included miso soup, salad, rice, and also a side of vegetables (beans, bamboo shoots, and beans.) Generous portion of food! Masahiro Endo's restaurant has... My husband and I went for dinner. Other than the ramen it was tasty. Atmosphere: relaxing, bonus points for BGM from the 80's and early 90's. Service: fantastic Sushi: maki and sushi were fresh and delicious Ramen: broth suffering from sodium overload, I'm sure the noodles were good, but the broth was so salty that is the only thing that...
