This place is awesome, astounding view of the Tacoma port and car museum it's more of an experience rather than just going out to eat. Very good food and Corey our server was very kind and attentive. Highly recomended

Made reservations for our 46 year anniversary. 1st issue: ordered crab legs and were told they have been out all week. 2nd issue: ordered a mojito and it arrived with a bug and my husband was told that they come with a bug sometimes! 3rd...issue: ordered a salad with the dressing on the side and it came with the dressing on the salad. My husband said 3 strikes and you are out. We left and will not return. It cost us $20 for his beer on the way out.More

Our "Go To" place for a great dinner and attentive service! There is a wonderful view and a fun atmosphere! We typically have cocktails, salads and their fabulous Prime Rib; it's good to add some mushrooms... We do it for date night and for couples...evenings our; and periodically, family events! Enjoy!More

Cory is the man! We were out as a family of 4 on a Friday evening after a long work week. Unsuccessfully tried to get a grandparent to watch the 2yr old and 5month old. So, we brought the crew to dinner. Cory was very...attentive and brought some fruit for the 2yr old to ensure she was entertained as well as occupied while the wife and I enjoyed our appetizer and beverage. Food was excellent, service even better. Thank you Cory for making our evening memorable and enjoyable. Not easy to to a date night with a 2yr old.More

I would say the atmosphere and service is great. The food is a little above average. There were 10 of us there for my grandson’s 18th birthday. The calamari was excellent. The other appetizers were also very good. I wasn’t impressed by the 10% cost...of living fee they added on to your bill. I had the seafood trio platter-salmon, prawns and scallops. The scallops were delicious, salmon and prawns were okay. Several in our group expressed their food was lacking flavor. I tried my son’s ribeye and wasn’t impressed. Our experience was enjoyable but I wouldn’t recommend it as they are overpriced for what you get.More

Major disappointment on all fronts. The appetizers were not as described on the menu and totally overcooked/deep-fried. The steak had little or no seasoning and was tough. Service was mediocre at best.

Great spot for a birthday dinner. The menu has a good selection and the prices are reasonable. The service was very good as the waitress had good recommendations and was very accomodating when asked to split an item. All items were well prepared and the...presentations were very good. Because we dined for a birthday, the creme brulee was complimentary, delicious and a work of art! We will plan to revisit S&S for Valentine's day not only for the food but the view and atmosphere!More

Attended 5 course wine dinner. Every dish was excellent. Lots of different flavors. Salmon moist. Lamb chops perfectly cooked. They have a new head chef Patrick and he is stellar. Highly recommend.

We had dinner at Stanley and Seafort's with some friends while we were visiting the area. We had reservations and were seated within a few minutes. The restaurant is high above the City and offers very nice views. The menu is mostly seafood and steak....We all enjoyed our meals.....everything was nicely prepared. Service was good and prices are typical for the area.More

Horrible experience. Lied to by the Manager. No response to my voicemails. No response from Landry's. And they didn't even reply to the Better Business Bureau complaint I made. I am disgusted by the way I have been treated.

We visited Stanley & Seafort's for Mother's Day Brunch 2023. While the food was very good, the service was (once again) less than stellar. The kitchen was simply overwhelmed and food came out slowly. Our reservation was scheduled at 11:15, and while we did get...seated right away, we waited a while for our drinks and food. When the order came, finally, one brunch item was not prepared as requested. The server offered to replace it, which happened quickly after he spoke to his manager. We overheard someone at the next table say something about one of their orders was also wrong, but one of the women at the table told her fellow diner, "Don't send it back, we don't wait to wait another hour." All in all, the server did an outstanding job in adverse circumstances, but the general manager has to know the kitchen was not turning around orders fast enough. That was surprising because the brunch menu was trimmed considerably for Mother's Day -- probably only eight or so options. I am unsure when we might return. It won't be for Mother's Day, I am sure of that. Since our other recent other experiences also fell short, maybe we will take S&S off the list for future consideration. It's too bad after eating here for decades.More

The physical plant and the view remain superb unfortunately everything else was poor, the service was distracted and uninterested it took 20 minutes between starter and the soup and salad course. The soup of course was cool by the time it was served. The mack...and cheese was a greasy mess and not more flavorful than Kraft from a box. The pacific Cod was good not even near great. The 3% living wage surcharge on the bill was an unwelcome surprise, When you pay almost a hundred dollars for a lunch for 2 to add a surcharge so they can pay the staff that ignores you spells I won't be back.More

Stanley’s has been my go to happy hour in Tacoma for years. The service has always been impeccable, the happy hour prices amazing, and the appetizers wonderful. I like the new small plate options for happy hour, easier to try multiple menu items and just...the right size to share with a friend. If visiting from out of town this is an off the main touristy area but with an amazing view over the city. Make sure you find this hidden gem, you won’t be disappointed.More

Once Tacoma's epitome of Fine dining has become the laughingstock of the industry. Monthly dining specials are a ruse to draw you in for wallet-busting mediocre diner food that can be had at Denny's for a quarter the cost. They jack the cost of cocktails...to make up for the discounted special menu. Pity but since being bought out by a chain this venue has suffered greatly with poor staffing and food quality issues. This restaurant needs a thorough overall in staffing and food sourcing. Start over and find experience. Consider paying the utility bill so we're not frozen out while attempting to eat this stuff.More

No problem with reservation. We frequent Simon and Seafort's in Anchorage as well. Stanley and Seafort's was such a disapointment. We always order cocktails, apps and entrees and most times take a dessert to go. The waiter's efforts to upsell us was obnoxious. We made...him aware of an allergy at the table and then proceeded to admonish us about the need of an epi pen. Yes we had an epi pen. The pasta dish was so spicy and the menu mentioned nothing about the spice. We can forgive slow service as we know everyone is short staffed but the quality of the food did not reflect the price.More
