More Choices Than Your Typical Pho Restaurant

We were looking for a Pho restaurant in the Tacoma area after a high school football game night. Siri directed us to this place which is open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. This restaurant has more choices (Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese) dishes than the typical Pho-type food, which is a... read more

Love this place! The staff is friendly, the service is super fast and the pho is so tasty! Sometime I get the #31 chicken cucumber salad. It's always difficult to choose which one to order because they are both so good.

I know, terrible title. It seems every Pho place has to do a play on words. At least this place resisted that temptation. The brisket pho is very good and reasonably priced. Service is quick. These guys are on the top of my list for something that has nothing to do with the food. I left my iPhone in the... More

I was disappointed with the food and cleanliness of this establishment. I ordered a #23- the chicken was cold and lacked flavor.

On our last day of vacation in Oregon, having had much too much fried foods, we decided to go for pho. So happy we found this place! The broth was very flavourful, noodles excellent. Also tried the beef stew which was more like a soup than a stew was so good, too. Large portions and quite reasonable. Place could be... More

Used to come here quite often. Had dinner last night. The place was dirtier and food a lot greasier than I remember. Sad. And with Five Guys opening soon Pho38 will have some hard times ahead.

Very popular restaurant, every time I visit the place is at least half full (can seat about 70 - 80 people). Unlike many Pho restaurant, you can order all kinds of Vietnamese (and some Chinese) menu items. The quality of the Pho is above average in quality and the price is reasonable. They do make a very good fried rice... More

The people were friendly, but the floor was not clean and the pork had too much smoke from the gril. It had too salty and made me really thirsty for the whole night.

You know you're in a Vietnamese Pho restaurant as soon as you walk into one. The posters on the walls show some of the available dishes. The tables are numbered for easy tracking of the checks. There are a lot of seated people slurping down all manner of familiar and unfamiliar foods. Pho 38th is all of those. It's the... More
