I loved the old Brunos in Parkland, it was so bright and cheerful with bright colors, right as you walk in the door it set a great mood. The new location quite the opposite. Very obvious this used to be a Mexican restaurant, the booths are exactly as they were when it was a Mexican restaurant. All of the cheery... More

We have been dining at Bruno's for years. We've always enjoyed the atmosphere and the quality of the food can't be beat. I love the Zigunaur Schnitzel. It is a little zippy (spicy)and has bell peppers and onions in the gravy. All the Schnitzel dishes are good. My neighbor loves the smoked pork shank. It's huge!

Visited Bruno's European Café for lunch. The ambience is somewhat European, waitresses do wear authentic dresses. The beer selection is quite good. Regarding the food, we had 3 different dishes: The Hangover soup was a full 5 star, the Frikadelle Plate was okay (3 star) while the Currywurst was a complete fail (0 star, if possible). For claiming to be... More

I love German food and was not disappointed here. The atmosphere has the feel of Germany and the food was pretty authentic. I am a fan of Jager Schnitzel so had to try it. Fortunately our server let me know the schnitzel used in the dish is not breaded which is the way I like it. He suggested getting plain... More

We were there for lunch yesterday. They have several lunch specials for about $8 but we got dinner for more choice in side dishes. I had stuffed cabbage. He had jaeger schnitzel. Both were delicious! The stuffed cabbage had enough flavorful tomato sauce. The cabbage was very tender. The gravy for the schnitzel was thick with chopped mushrooms. Wonderful! We... More

Went to Bruno's to meet some friends. My first time to their new location. It's much bigger than the last, but so is my garage lol. They kept the same feel, cozy and inviting. The food was as good as ever and the service was top notch. I keep this on my list of "must do" when folks come to... More

OK, Ive travelled to Germany many times. I love German food. SOme friends and I stumbled upon this place by accident at lunch today and recognized it as a Diner, drive-ins and Dives place so we stopped and went inside. Atmosphere: Pretty typical German feel. Lots of German style decor and it felt authentic. Service: Our waitress was fast and... More

Forget any tourist trap in Leavenworth, this is the real McCoy. The food is authentic Central European food our moms and grandmas used to make. Love the cabbage rolls, for a Croat like myself these tasted like my moms. The Wienerschnitzel was just like mom's too...As for the apple strudel--forget it...I would eat a bucket of it if they sold... More

We are Bruno's regulars and were eager to check out their new, much larger location, on 10902 Bridgeport Way, west of I-5. The parking area is larger, but be careful to park in the Bruno's area, as you will be towed if you park too far east or west. We had a reservation for 5:15 and arrived a bit early,... More
