Fairly new restaurant with an eclectic menu. Lots of vegetarian options... and, of course, bone marrow. Plates are small and meant to share. Loved the cauliflower .. but the pasta with crab, not so much. Crowded with a nice staff, tables very close together. An enjoyable dinner!

6th Ave in Tacoma has a great foodie scene, and Marrow is among my favorites. Have a cocktail...I recommend the Broadway. Make sure you have a meat and cheese plate. Service was excellent! You won't be disappointed.

We went to Marrow to celebrate a birthday. I had never heard of it before but am always eager to try new restaurants. Everything, and I do mean everything that was served to us that evening was fabulous. The bone marrow plate is a must. Very rich but the flavors are wonderful. Deviled eggs and truffle pasta were delicious. The... More

A little expensive for the size of the portions (except for the waffles and fried chicken, which was huge), but really delicious and so beautifully presented I wanted to take photos of every plate. The SBA was cured salmon, bacon jam and avocado paste, served on a a potato galette topped with a poached egg garnished with a bit of... More

I was so shocked (dinner) bread ($3)was stale toast...stale Orowheat from Costco? I bragged about how wonderful this place is to a friend, from California and had to 'eat my words', which tasted better than the entree I ordered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Best chefs in Tacoma. Best food in town. There is nowhere else to go for craft cocktails, creative food, perfect portions, excellent service, and a dining experience that is so good no one can match it. Be sure to talk to your server, ask questions, tell them what you like/don't like, and consider allowing them to offer suggestions. We always... More

We took advantage of happy hour and went at 5:00 on a Friday night. The place was full so we sat at the bar...best decision we could have made. The bar is in the back and there is high communal table in front of it. We enjoyed watching Jacob concoct the drinks he was making; I had on OPP that... More

The food is great, artful, expressive, nourishing and reliably tasty. The servers are warm, playful and unpretentious. The ambiance is easy going. Every restaurant should mimic this place and the seats will never be empty. It's pricier than many places in Tacoma, but nothing like big-city prices. Tacoma needs a few more versions of this place - each with its... More

A group of 8 of us had dinner at Marrow recently and to a person we loved it. The owner, Matt, waited on us and his enthusiastic descriptions made us want to order everything on the menu. Fortunately with a party of 8 we were able to try a lot of things. We were impressed with the emphasis on freshness,... More

We have been to Marrow a few times, mostly on Friday nights when getting a table can be a short wait. They don't take reservations. The bartender is an artist and has created some really different mixes drinks. They the Cosmopolitan or anything mixed with their homemade ginger ale. Their burger is the best in town and you won't go... More
