Very good pub food, broad selection of beverages, great atmosphere. Meeting place for many activities (Thursday evening 5-mile runs through downtown Tacoma) and groups with accommodations for all.

Stopped in while staying in Tacoma. Hotel was a couple blocks away. Had some good drinks. Decided to check out the place as I could see more areas behind the bar. One of the owners seen me looking around and gave me a tour. Talked about the building's history. Pics on wall. I enjoyed this pub.

This historic Pub is a great stop for a beer and/or snack while taking in the Chichuly Venetians and paintings. Chichuly also has a small display of his accordion collection here.

Enjoyed immensely this eclectic bistro housed in an historic, most interesting historic building. It has great ambience and interesting decor. The food was delicious including great bratwurst and tasty, creative sausage beer chili. Service was very cordial and efficient.

The Swiss is very simply the very best pub in Tacoma. Whether you just want an afternoon pub lunch or a wild night out, you will not be disappointed. The drink prices are reasonable and strongly poured. They have a wide selection of beer to fit any pallet. The food is a great mix of pub food with some surprisingly... More

Been to the Swiss a number of times and it's consistently good. The beer selection is always fantastic. The burgers are also quite good. Give the Swiss just 4 rating as the menu selection is average. My husband did get the Thai salad which was better than expected. Swiss a great option if you are visiting the campus. Park on... More

Slider trio was delicious, good beer, service and atmosphere. Definitely worth going to if you're in need of a bite to eat and a pint downtown

Been hearing about and wanting to try The Swiss for almost two decades. It did not disappoint. My husband had brats and I have the swiss dip. Both were excellent. Hope to be back soon

This is a must visit place in Tacoma. It is big enough to to host live music but manages to maintain a local pub kind of vibe. One room is dedicated to pool and various other bar games. We have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. I would recommend the Swiss for either a nice pub lunch or... More
