We have enjoyed all the Indochine venues many times, but the downtown Tacoma location is the most elegant. Excellent selection of dishes, well-stacked bar, great staff. Parking can be a challenge.

Service was a bit chaotic. We had a party of 12 and two orders were wrong and one was incomplete. Prices were a bit spendy and the food was just OK.

We were craving spicy flavourful food and this place delivered! We had the jungle chicken curry and the Siamese spicy noodle - both were fantastic. Portions were massive (we were a family of four) and could not finish it all. Host was very accommodating and our waiter was quick and attentive. We would definitely come back again if in the... I booked here again based on my first experience being so positive. The food is good but if you like "hot" Thai I would ask for it. We asked for the hottest possible on the tofu and I would rate it mild + at most. Portions are big and I had one of the best martini's ever. Probably the most... More

Attended this restaurant today for lunch with my family. My wife was craving Thai food so this was a great stop in Tacoma. It is located right on Pacific right downtown along with many other shops and restaurants. You do have to pay for parking if it's during the day. The decor of the restaurant is very Asian influenced with... More

Wonderful food and great ambiance for a romantic dinner. Loved the Thai fusion fish and chips and the the saiamese noodles were absolutely heavenly. The Gelato wasn't very good so don't try it, but t he black rice pudding was fantastic.

I enjoyed my dinner here -- inventive menu, large portions (and I mean large), and vibrant atmosphere. I am tempted to give it an excellent rating, but my teriyaki chicken seemed slightly undercooked or prepared, at least to my taste. That aside, given how interesting the menu and dining experience were, I would gladly return to try something new.

Argh! I was so looking forward to eating here. Maybe I should have stuck with the tried and true pad Thai but when you put black Thai rice and coconut milk in the same sentence, I can't refuse. Needless to say, I was incredibly disappointed to leave more than half my meal on the plate. I guess the problem is... More

Interesting spot for dinner. Basically Thai food with some twists. Had the Chicken Jungle Curry at spice level 5 (1-5 scale); couldn't tell there was any spice but the addition of the Nam Pla with Chilies finally gave it a kick. One of the new breed of restaurants that add a service charge (18%) to all tickets which is OK... More

A small group of us ate dinner here last week during a business trip to Tacoma. I ordered the Panang Curry Chicken, which is a red curry dish with peanut sauce. It is listed in the menu as the "richest of them all," and that was no exaggeration. The server told me there is a lot of coconut milk in... More
