Located next to the tracks in the basement of an old warehouse, I find it difficult to consider this a restaurant. The atmosphere is dingy, loud 'music' from a radio station blares out from the ceiling speakers, and the laminate tables have raw particle board edges that must be impossible to clean. The silverware had a greasy film and I... More

We went there on a Monday night, not too crowded ( nearly empty in fact ). Server was delightful and very helpful. Wendy ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs ( took more than half of it home ) and I had the best Jalapeno Burger I have ever tasted ! ( and believe me, I have had my share of these all... More

We decided on a Saturday morning in August to stop in for breakfast. We arrived around 9AM and the restaurant was pretty full. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes or so before being seated. The service is was a little slow, but overall, my wife & I really enjoyed our breakfast. We thought the restaurant was very cozy &... More

Took the ride over due to mostly favorable reviews on TripAdvisor.. Service was friendly but slow for a night that there were only 6-8 tables full. Ordered the chicken & waffles - the waffles lacked flavor, the fried chicken batter lacked flavor, and the corn bread was very dry. It was 6:30 at night so I assume the cornbread was... More

For me, there's nothing better than Buttered Biscuit's cornbread slathered with butter. The top is like a textured taste of sweetness. It's one of my five favorite things. Also a highlight is the protein. Today I had a Crazy Christopher - eggs and meat scrambled together. It was just fantastic. If you can't tell, I love this place. Try it...you... More

We had a huge lunch of fish and chips with a small cup of gingerbread for dessert. It was enough food to share, but instead we had lunch a second day.

Oh, my goodness! What a wonderful meal we had at The Buttered Biscuit! Our sodas were served in large mason glasses. My meal came first with a "wilted" salad which was lettuce with warm bacon and grilled onions in a delicious dressing. Dinner meals come with a huge piece of warm corn bread with a sugar/butter topping. It was like... More

Floors were dirty, flies harassed us during our entire meal, paint on the windows, silverware looked like it came from McNeil Island Pen, corned beef hash was burned, waffle was made from pancake batter, Corn bread had a nasty aftertaste. Pros: ummm, the waitress was nice and compt our hash. two coffees, side of bacon, side of eggs, and a... More

Nice diner w good ole home-style cooking. We went for breakfast, took the advice of other reviews & didn't feel like waiting in a long line ,so were the first ones there~6:15am, but not long after ppl started coming in. Before 7 rolled around, some ppl were waiting for the remainder of their party of 12 to join them. Cornbread-... More

Great huge plates of food. The menu has classics but so many different things that you don't see anywhere else, it was hard to decide what to get. the service is wonderful. It's an eclectic mix of furniture, chairs and tables. The cornbread is awesome.
