Such a cute spot! Memorabilia from past incarnations as a hardware store, a pharmacy, and a post office. The menu is good, and the kitchen usually does a decent job, but service is very "hit or miss." On good days, it is friendly, prompt, and professional. On bad days, your juice never arrives, you are brought cold coffee, and your... More

Had a mimosa and Gary's breakfast. Food was great, service friendly and I love the atmosphere. They were busy so we sat at the bar. Comfy bar stools!

Awesome! Eat here every time we visit. Love the short stack pancakes and Root Bear float. The location is perfect. It overlooks the water and the building and old timey artifacts from the old soda/pharmacy days makes this the perfect place for a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner. Any history buff will get a kick out of it! Truly worth... More

Like others have stated, long waits are a risk here. A group of three of us visited on Saturday and arrived at 11:50. We had a fifteen minute wait for a table. that was fine, as we walked around a bit. However we had to wait an hour for our lunch to arrive, merely soup and sandwiches. They had four... More

On the plus side - Steilacoom is heaven in our opinion. Many times in summer months we've walked passed this place, charmed by those seated out on the porch and having a lovely view of the water and mountains. Another plus to this place is the wait staff who are extremely pleasant and accommodating. A third plus is the setting... More

We had to walk out of this restaurant. We were finally sorted but after 15 minutes the servers hadn't even said hello or provided menus. Service was slow to nonexistent. To bad as the place was so cute and quaint with so much character.

Historical landmark with the most amazing ICECREAM! Great stop for cultural value as well as tantalizing to the taste buds. Cool feel, great for visitors and locals alike .

The food is pretty good, hit and miss on the temperature. Slow service, let them know if you're in in a hurry. It's in a historic former general store and has a lot of original goodies to look at. Great place for a meal after visiting the Historical Museum.

My husband and I had breakfast at Bair Bistro. Pros..charming, historic and immaculate Cons..worst service ever. Food just ok. The servers were pleasant but obviously poorly trained. There don't seem to be systems in place..the service extremely inefficient. We waited 45 minutes for our meal then no silverware. They had 45 minutes to figure it out ridiculous. It wasn't that...
